Yesh this bites, at the same time do what you gotta do.

So the rules changed I guess!  I just made a few posts last week and didn't seem to run into this restriction :-(

My time logged in says 33 minutes even though I have twice logged in, posted, and left myself logged in for several hours.

If the rule was changed to 5 then I'll just have to sit out the clock then. Sounds a lot better than 50 anyway, that's a bit excessive.

Also, you must have made 1 post to send PMs.

What's a "PMs"?

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

I made the mistake of posting elsewhere before posting to this forum.  So will the mods be deleting those, or might they allow them to remain after noting that my posts were answering questions (rather than asking them like the typical n00b), as well as that I'm also now posting to the n00b forum?

Edit:
*sigh*  And now I actually bother to check, and I see that the thread and posts in question actually are in the Newbie forum.

/facepalm

Can we please block new discussion creation to ppl under 10-15 no-spam posts? new scams everyday.. it seems to be an advertices board this forum..

and maybe newbies start to search for similar discussion instead of open another one..
