Thanks for clearing that up. I just bought SLK, can it be traded for DSLK with the ICO? or will I have to go to BTC and then DSLK? I've been through the thread but couldn't clarify.
Thanks in advance.
We are looking into this, but due to time constraints it might get deprecated, but it's still up in the air.

We are looking into this, but due to time constraints it might get deprecated. i am investing in DSLK which from my understanding is SLK collateral so when either is brought each should rise? am i understanding this correctly? DSLK is incorporating the coins i have been looking to invest in, in one. Would just like more information on how this will work,

That has all gone very smoothly good job to the Silk Team.
Is there an optimum block size for staking?

Can we still buy DSLK ICO? Can't seem to find where or how, got onto weaver but still no? Only on Bittrex SLK is available.
Same question here please.

Got SLK wallet running on ubuntu 16.04 LTS and synced up really fast when I made a config file with the address suggested, deposited SLK, now it looks like staking is automatic, am I correct? OR do I have to move funds into staking somehow? Cheers

It will stake automatically. If the lightening bolt is white then you are staking. It takes 60 minutes for coins to mature before they begin staking.

Wondering the same, in the past I have set my addys to 1500-2000 coins, but I am looking for others advice on optimum wallet coin-address distribution for staking.

Weaver is back online. Updated all transactions and pushed withdrawals as well. Bitcoin and Silkcoin withdrawals have been disabled and if you try it will just respond with a error reloading the page. Your newly generated BTC address will be for sending in ICO funds if you are willing to be a part of that process. This IS NOT your default Weaver Bitcoin wallet.

Spencer gave a great set of instructions about how to optimize the wallet size for staking. Oh, and there is a coin split function to make it even easier.

Coin Splitting Explained by Developer via Slack:1) Advantages 2) Step by step tutorial 3) Optimal amountsslievensdrkslk [4:37 PM] wait till you get coins and use split coins function enable coin control on send page you will see split coin split your coins into multi inputs at the touch of a button
cryptoloot [4:38 PM] what is the advantage of splitting coins?
slievensdrkslk [4:39 PM] increases amounts of inputs on the network able to stake thus increasing the regularity of PoS blocks and further increasing the security of the network
cryptoloot [4:39 PM] is there an optimum amount per address for staking?
slievensdrkslk [4:40 PM] combined stake threshold is 2x500
cryptoloot [4:41 PM] @slievensdrkslk no idea what that means
slievensdrkslk [4:41 PM] if you have 100000 coins i would make 100 inputs of 1000 coins or 200 of 500 coins
basically make a load of inputs and dont make them lower than a 100 coins each
cryptoloot [4:41 PM] gotcha, thanks for explaining
slievensdrkslk [4:42 PM] np
cryptoloot [4:42 PM] lets see, 800k divided by x = a shit load
slievensdrkslk [4:42 PM] lol 800 inputs of a 1000 coins
cryptoloot [4:43 PM] i guess the splitting option will save a bunch of time
slievensdrkslk [4:43 PM] thats ok just wait till you use it go to coin control select input type amount hit send confirm send 1 input
cryptoloot [4:44 PM] does that mean i will need 800 addresses?
slievensdrkslk [4:44 PM] wait till you use it its fully auto bro tick box
cryptoloot [4:44 PM] sweet
slievensdrkslk [4:44 PM] open coin control select input tick split coins box
snetwork-mark [4:44 PM] will they be blocks on the same address or real addresses?
slievensdrkslk [4:44 PM] type desired amount of inputs boom done real addresses new inputs
Can i get clarification on splitting? I must be doing something wrong. I keep getting "split block tool does not work when sending to an outside address". thanks, john

Create a new address and copy this to clipboard (right-click, copy address). 2. Enable "Coin Control" in options. 3. Go to the "Send" tab. 4. Open "Coin Control". 5. Select input you want to split (biggest one) and make a note of the amount after fee. 6. Close "Coin Control" and go back to send tab. 7. Tick "Split Coin". 8. In the "# of Inputs" field, type in amount of inputs you wish to create. (If you have a million coins, make 1000 inputs, if you have 100,000's of coins make 100's inputs, if you have 10,000's make 10's of inputs, if you have 100's of coins don't bother to split your inputs and just buy more Silk ) 9. In the address field of the send form enter the address you created in step 1. 10. In the amount field of the send form enter the amount of coins from step 5. 11. Hit send. Success!!!!! Go back to coin control and check your inputs, lay back and relax

So I have 30 odd inputs to the same wallet address and that's it. Just leave it like that? Don't check box them all or anything?
Also can we add BTC to weaver now for the IOC, I'm not sure what time it is where you guys are from.
Thanks

Your inputs are fine, just be patient you will get stake Yes you can already take part in the ICO and deposit to the Bitcoin(ICO) address in your wallet on Weaver. The Transaction ID will be logged against your account and you will be paid DarkSilk once the ICO completes. Please read the last post made by us as this user.
