I have tweeted and messaged CoinMarketCap so many times now.

Can people please email them and ask them to match the available supply to the total supply.

They might take notice if they get flooded with emails.

OK,I have sent them an e-mail, hoping to have progress.

So far, 0.02 SLK I guess.

Thanks Spencer I got rid of the orphans: smooth and quick.
Oh, by the way, I sent a request to CoinMarket Cap as well.
Let the flood continue

Hi and thanks for the help. I downloaded the .conf file from the link you provided and deleted my existing one and replaced it with the one you provided but still have majority of my coins stuck in "Staking" and nothing I try can get them into spendable. I changed the reserved amount to the amount stuck and it made no difference either and I tried the reserve amount at 0000 and still stuck. I am not sure what to do or where to go from here. Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks very much for your help. I found my .conf file but I have no idea how to change it? when I click it, it comes up with windows cant read this file. I also dont know how to create a text file. Any help would be appreciated.

Updated the Silkcoin folder up to block 1758147 for easy sync

it contains staking=0 line as well cause it's no point in staking the old coin anyway

Set your reserve amount to all 9's (999999999)  that's the amount you are telling the wallet to KEEP from staking.  Not sure if if will help release the coins in staking but it may.

Just thought of something else you can try if nothing else works.  You could try exporting the private keys from your current wallet and the importing them into a new wallet.  I’ve done that for many other coin wallets in the past which had gotten screwed up.  To do it;

With you current wallet running and unlocked, go to Actions -> Debug, then select the Console tab.

For each of your addresses, enter
dumpprivkey <silkcoin address>

Copy and paste each of the keys it responds with to notepad
Save the file when you have dumped all your addresses, but leave it open.

Exit (close) the wallet
Go to your Slikcoin data directory
Rename the existing wallet.dat file to something like orig_wallet.dat (so you have a copy)

Restart the SilkCoin wallet (it will create a new wallet)
When it shows it is synced, go back to the console (Actions -> Debug, then select the Console tab)

Now using the list of keys you saved in the notepad file, ether the following command for each private key you have;

importprivkey <private key from list> “you can include a label in quotes if you want”

I'm posting this during my commute to the day job so the commands are from memory, I think I got them right, but if anyone sees an error, please chime in with the correction

I have tweeted and messaged CoinMarketCap so many times now.

Can people please email them and ask them to match the available supply to the total supply.

They might take notice if they get flooded with emails.

ok, done!
and damn, what a big dump we had.... was it just panic sell? unfortunately i was out of money to buy more...

Just 32.5 hours left of Week 3 and the 5% bonus for investing into the ICO with BTC.

Week 4 starts at midnight tomorrow (GMT/BST) which holds NO BONUS.

The time to invest is NOW.

I'm so busy staking coins I did not even notice the dump. What a missed opportunity, I wanted to buy more Silk. That's a pity.
I want to increase my staking power for the future days we have ahead. We are going to need a strong network.

Yeah, it was very nice of someone... Thank you!! I didn't get in at the bottom but I was happy where I was able to pick them up.  I'm still buying all I can find.  I only wish we could see the persons face during say like 11/8 - 11/20..... I think it would be priceless.  We all know they made a HUGE mistake.  Their loss is our gain.

How much was dumped? 100k, 200k? a million?

between 200 and 450K but feels like dumping in own hands as the distribution didnt change much.
Feels like scare tactic. Remember this coin still needs to prove itself over time untill then these tactics
will occure.

to "Quote, warren buffet", not exact lines.. invest in a company/group that you feel good by, and ask where you
see them in the next 10/20 years, if you feel good about it and see the potential go hard and deep.

This mindset will burn a part of your bankroll a few times, but the times you are right will be worth it and cover the loses
you made before.

Like i said in other thread and will repeat again, SLK will hit 50k and beyond over time, would you then still sell it? Or take the stakes
to periodically cash out for what ever stupid luxury you need?

Short term thinking for profit will result in chasing wich will result in loss. Be a visionair and invest where YOU believe in long time
1-20yrs.

Silk is a major brand on itself, the name has great opportunity's. Sure people of the first hour will compare it with the darknet. but this stigma has no fundament. The original Silkroad from the ancient times is what we have to keep in mind, where cultural interaction from different regions made smart deals. This is what this project stands for. Freedom of trade freedom of choice.

Let's never forget this, we gonna rebuild the fundament from ancient times in the modern world and make a big finger to regulation and control.

I couldn't agree with you more!!  I'm in this for the long haul.  I have other coins that I picked up sizable chunks of while mining so the cost back then was my electric and equipment.  Sold some of one when it hit 39.5K to 42K to cover those costs but have held on to a nice balance, way more than I sold, mainly because I believe in that developer.  SLK / DSLK is the same way.  I've been buying up what I can and plan on holding for a long time.  I won't even be tempted to sell SLK unless it hits 250K, and even then it will be a difficult decision because I believe in the coin and the Team.

just my my 2.1 SLKs
