Yes he is right. You can pay bills thru a 3rd party. The wallet exchange will be the one paying it for you and it is faster. I dont want to go there and queue with so many people that is just waste of time so I would rather pay up with the 3rd party and I receive some rebate that is way better.

why dont you include the drawbacks of using bitcoins as well ? if you are explaining bitcoin to somebody then you should explain the whole thing and not only the advantages of using btc. btw, the points that you have listed are nothing new. by doing a quick search about bitcoin on google, anyone can get these points so no need to post those common points again and again. just my 2 cents!

And before all, you should explain that Bitcoin essentially is a financial pyramid so far, and someone will be left holding the bag in the end. But this may be still in the distant future while the fiat money you are earning today is losing value day by day due to inflation gradually eating away its value...

Looks like we are the same place and we are using the same wallet for withdrawal.. yeah this is one of the good thing that you can pay your monthly bills easily without going outside in your house..  rebate is one of the good thing because you can get % rebate for every paying bills or buying load or many services they are giving. and i thing they are adopting more their wallet.

yeah i agree in pyramid scheme usually you have at the end that only the first were doing something, but here the first weren't doing anything at the beginning, because there was no value at the start of bitcoin, it's just trading and nothing else, one can also argue that trading itself is a ponzi scheme too lol

Just today I was reading an article about some new born cryptocurrencies that just fail apart without getting some good results as currencies. That is one of my reasons why I choosed bitcoin. The best and good thing about bitcoin is the fee for every transaction or you can also use online wallet that has no transaction fee for every transaction..
This is a good thing that i notice because when i was using paypal and dealing to others i am paying a large amount of fee i dont like the payment fee in paypal because they are asking high fee even sending it as your friend.

There is no demand without usage. You are essentially claiming that demand is a thing that exists by itself while it only reflects how much of something is desired by buyers at different prices, or, more generally, that something is considered as useful on the whole. Following your logic, though, it could be inferred that the thing which is in demand shouldn't necessarily have any usage, i.e. be useful for attaining an aim, which apparently is complete bullshit. Even demand for Bitcoin has, for the most part, its roots in its usage as a speculative vehicle ("buy low sell high"). I don't think that any rational individual would buy bitcoins without intention of using them for a purpose (whatever it might be)...
