Yes you got it right as the term low transaction fee really does not suit here because slowly the transaction fee keeps increasing this is something to worry about and yes bitcoin's value has tripled actually in last 2 years it was around $400 during the last quarter of 2015 then now it's approaching $1200 so indeed bitcoin is the best way to invest with a guaranteed return on investment.
