Last version of the windows wallet?

Could anybody please answer the question?

I didn't see your message before, but here you can download it: https://byteball.org/#download

if you're asking for the version number, it's 1.9.0
All the wallets should share the same version though

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

The BTC/GBYTE exchange bot shows quite a spread between buy and sell  Grin

Quote
buy bytes at 0.3669 BTC/GB
sell bytes at 0.00984 BTC/GB

LOL thats a massive difference.

P.S Any clue as to where the android wallet saves the full backup?

Cheers.

The backup is placed in a separate 'byteball' folder somewhere. I believe in root folder.

Nice. Indeed it was in its own folder. Just wanted to make sure to back it up. Having a wallet on the phone is not my ideal approach.

Last version of the windows wallet?

Could anybody please answer the question?

Genereally, latest version of Byteball software is 1.9.0. There is no difference between the respective operating system because Byteball uses NodeJS which is platform independent. If you do not use the latest version then you get a message when you open the client which urges you to update to the new version. So if you open the client and there is not such a message then you're use the latest version.

The snapshot for today's distribution should be conducted. Can somebody confirm this please? Thanks.

Sorry for not replying. Posts tend to get lost here. You should really head on to the website, it's pretty clearly stated there. But to answer, latest Windows version is 1.9 available at this direct link on github:

https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases/download/v1.9.0/Byteball-win64.exe

It needs some more hours. First the snapshot is be conducted. It should have been conducted a few minutes ago. The distribution of the tokens is a few hourse later. Usually it happens within 6-7 hours after snapshot. So be patient.

Has it happened yet? Don't see anything in my wallet!

tonych [9:29 AM]
block 470514 mined, it will likely be the snapshot block (unless there are reorgs)

Where did he say it and why not in this topic?

In slack, It's pinned there as well.  But i'm sure he will make an official post here as well

you shouldn't be able to link the same BTC address to two different Byteball wallets, (as far as i know)

Ok so the 'snapshot' happened, right? Meaning they are basing everything off of the block that happened at 9:10am EST (13:10 UTC) and I can move my bitcoins if I so choose? Right?

Yep, otherwise distribution would be horrible with people making several accounts to get bytes. As for distribution, I'm not moving any funds yet until this is all resolved just in case.
