Do you get more GBB for your existing GBB, in the next distribution?
That's right, and this time it will be 2x more the amount than previous distributions

So if I have 1GBB I get 1.2GBB after the distribution?
yep. that's how the distribution works for the next round at least, maybe future ones too. you get 0.2 gb for each gb you already have, plus the new stuff.

No. D3m0nKinGx and European Central Bank are wrong on this. When in doubt, just read the OP: The snapshots of Bitcoin blockchain and Byteball DAG for the 6th round will be taken on the Full Moon of June, on June 9, 2017 at 13:10 UTC. What you receive, is proportional to your balances in BTC and Bytes: BTC to bytes: 1 BTC of proven balance gives you 62.5 MB (0.0625 GB) BTC to blackbytes: 1 BTC of proven balance gives you 2.1111 * 62.5 million blackbytes (money supply of blackbytes is 2.1111 times more than that of bytes) Bytes to bytes: 1 byte on any Byteball address gives you 0.2 new bytes Bytes to blackbytes: 1 byte on linked Byteball address gives you 0.42222 blackbytes
You only receive GBB (blackbytes) if you own GB (bytes) and have the address linked. Owning GBB doesn't get you anything extra.

.. Is it because its impossible to know the users balance in GBB as its anonymous?
Yes, blackbytes are private as cash. They are meant to be used as cash, so peer 2 peer (No third party involved). The non-anonymous trading on a exchange would break this privacy (or anonymity if you got thru Tor). Therefore there is the Slack trading channel. Through the Byteball DAG, tony knows the addresses and amount of the bytes (analogous to Blockchain BTC). He can thus distribute bytes and blackbytes to the BB addresses (proportional to the byte amount, which he sees ->Snapshot) But the Byteball DAG (and tony) knows nothing about the Blackbytes. Real world example: “Everyone” can see what you have in your bank account. No one knows how much cash you have in your head pillow. So tony can not see if- or how many blackbytes you have. Actually, he could not send you blackbytes, because device pearing (p2p) is required. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to link at least one BTC address to get blackbytes: By linking a Byteball address, one exposes their device address which is needed to send the blackbytes (Thanks to kaicrypzen who told me this ). This is the reason why you can only get blackbytes at linked BB addresses (and only for the amount available there)..

Blacbytes are indeed the most anonymous cryptocurrency invented so far. You can't really get more anonymous than that. When the darknet catches on, expect Moon.

If I have bought some GB from the market, transferred it to my wallet, do I still need to link a btc addresss to recieve GBB? Or would it automatically transfer GBB to all the GB holders without linking?

Soooo undervalued at the moment It's funny that none of the big boys haven't bought in yet. I mean only 200k BTC linked. WTF? Even the winglewiis have like 100k and it's free money. They would get 6k GB every month, that's 2 000 000$ worth of GB every month for free at current rates people are so dumb who don't link their BTC, they are missing out free money. and Roger Ver? Why hasn't he linked? But it's good. It means more for me

Yes (as we can not know the addresses on a per-wallet basis) right ofc anonymity 3 of my addresses I found have balances. and ofc everytime we do an outgoing transaction, a new address is generated... lol that could end up being a lot to go through. there's really no simpler way to do this? Maybe create a bot that can check against the addresses in our wallet against your witness?
