Props to Betcoin for addressing the issue directly, not trying to cover it up and warning other players about it.  In the past it would of been ignored/censored.

With that in mind, the bolded part below is unprofessional and remarkably petty.

Some quick examples of appropriate responses to cjmoles (who happens to be one of your all time HOF shills) post:

- We will investigate and update everyone (then actually update everyone)
- We will do everything we can to make sure other players are aware of this scam attempt. (then actually do everything you can to make other players aware)
- apologize

This is at least the 5th time I've heard of player email addresses being used in scam attempts, 3 of which I have proof were only ever given to Betcoin (all very well documented in the 'non-moderated' threads - if you need me to point you in the right direction.

Not one single time has any of the above 'suggestions' been taken.

Pathetic really.

That is a fair assessment. It is a bit off-putting when someone asks you a question, you reply, then they edit their quesion. But either way, we are always looking to improve our customer service and should conduct ourselves professionally at all times.
Of course we take any breach seriously. If anyone has recveived a similar email, please forward it to support@betcoin.ag and of course CJ, we request that you do the same to aid our investigation.

Received this email from: Betcoin.ag <bonus@betcoin.ag> IP 217.70.183.197
~snip~
This is clearly a scam attempt. We would never send an email like this.
The question is: How did they get my email address?
we are not sure.
(Authenticated sender: betcoinsupport1@betcoin.ag) <--- From metadata
That is not a valid Betcoin email address.
How would someone get hold of an betcoin.ag email address, though?

Exactly my question!  It looks like the scam is a little more involved than just having attained an email list of users. Either they attained the "email list" && found a way to counterfeit the metadata || they accessed the DNS directly ---> right?

We understand your concern. Based on our investigation so far, this is the same person who got the list several years ago. No players with accounts under 2 years old have reported the email. We have been checking vigilantly and will let you know if/when more information develops.

How can someone that breached your servers 2 years ago still have access to your DNS?
Do you understand the situation here? This isnt about knowing the email address, this is about being able to send emails from your domain.
You might have a major security issue on your hands right there.

Was the email list stolen or sold?

Where are the 43 stolen bitcoins?

Why are you reopening to the places you just said you were locking out?

Lots of things have changed in the last week.

...and sadly, lots more haven't changed in many years.

Any Betcoin shills willing to step up and admit that they still trust the site?

Here's a thread I started over two years ago:
What's wrong with Betcoin.ag? Here's a list.
January 10, 2016, 01:23:24 PM

I urge Betcoins new support (no, not you Jessica - you are largely responsible for Betcoins reputation && cjmoles can also be considered -->
complicit <-- at best, considering he was being paid to promote Betcoin for years  || cjmoles is just a fucking idiot )
to check it out, especially the Bad Beat Jackpot and Betcoin player emails and login details were used in multiple phishing attacks beginning Jan 2015 posts.

These two issues are very serious, but they aren't the only ones that have been haunting Betcoin.ag for literally years.

Either solve them, or have them continue to haunt you.  I promise not to let them be forgotten.  I've got a couple years of evidence to support my claim threat.

Why can't you answer any question asked of you?  What happened to pretending you were "new management"?

(Note to the rubes: you'll notice how the same betcoin.ag user name has been switching tenses/tones the last month, pretending to be someone different.  They are back to dropping all pretenses and Jessica White is showing her true colors)

Still waiting on any shills to let me know that they trust Betcoin.  Anyone?  Anyone?

Update - We are continuing to go through the extensive data. We had to employ the former members in order to parse the data. Due to the complexity, it is taking longer than originally anticipated and we will have another update early next week. Thank you for your patience.

Please show proof that you in fact did parse all of the data that you claimed to.  Also please explain what data you don't have.

Remember: when it came past time for the payments, you put them off because you claimed that there was SO MUCH data that you couldn't get through it in time.  Now you claim there isn't enough data.  Please post proof of your work and sign addresses showing you control the BBJ funds.  None of this information is sensitive, but to prevent more FUD I'm fine with you showing this information to a trusted 3rd party like Twitchy or DanDruff.

Again: you put off making payments because you claimed you had too much data and now you are cancelling payments because you claim you don't have enough data.  Please reconcile these two statements.

Guys, stop giving Betcoin such a hard time on here. They made some mistakes and they are doing everything to make up for those and they will. Give them some time.
I have never played Poker on there so maybe that is why I am not so frustrated but to me it looks like they are honest people. Just give them some time.
Still for sure the best sportsbook of all the Crypto books!

It is literally the worst crypto sportsbook. What are you smoking? I want some. The UI is by far the worst and last I played a month ago, they didn't even have a way to check your pending wagers lol

Well good odds and decent limits are way more important to me than seeing my bets history. But I agree that they must solve this and it's taking a bit longer than expected.
But better that they offer their Beta product now than nothing at all!

Hello, you are now able to view your open bets and bet history (that has happened since we fixed this issue) by clicking transactions in your dashboard screen and clicking view on the bet you want to see. Hope this helps!
