3. You have answered your question. Like BTC's price from 0.1 to 11000 USD, if we would know, we will be a millionaire.
That turns out how important it is by committing investment into a technical-sound coin in the long run. Was holding about 100 btc in 2014, the year that going through the prior surge; if I'd hold that much amount till the current surge, my return would surely be huge. There aren't coins I can name from investment point of view, Zcoin is certainly the top one in my portfolio for years holding such that I won't lose the opportunity again.

I trust on zcoin, i bought my node at 38.20 and i am not selling it even if it drops to 10$ because its undervalued and with the masternode release i am thinking that people will try to get their masternode as cheap as they think i know people who bought dash masternode at 450.000$

The difference is that Dash needs masternodes to perform coin mixing, as they don't have proper anon tech like Cryptonote, Zerocash or Zerocoin. But in practice there's not much difference -- any kind of masternode concept breaks the original idea of decentralized cryptocurrencies, and brings back old-time big-money capitalism.

Guys, please 1) what is masternode? Is it similar to "staking coins" of Decred, for example? So I can earn some interest on coins owned? 2) I am unable to mine on Windows 10 and AMD 480 cards... with default settings of official miner (put there pool info), I am still getting errors. Is any custom settings (intensity, etc...) needed to set? Thank you.

Ok so ZNodes are only for owners of 1000 XZC.
Why not for early adopters ?
Mining are useless with the new share plan.
early adopters should have 1000XZC or more. the good thing about mining, once some drop out from miining XZC, the difficulty will drop, and it will become profitable again. as the time goes, price increase, it will become more profitable, thus encourage more to mine, thus increasing the network security.

Zcoin is based on the Zcoin whitepaper, essentially. Stealthcoin is not.

Hello Zcoin! I'm thrilled to announce our research efforts into the hardened version of MTP, Itsuku, have been published to the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR)! We'll be releasing a C++ implementation of the design in our upcoming Boolberry hardfork when we rebrand to Doubloon. If your team plans on using the new design maybe we can organize a GPU mining contest as it would benefit both projects. If not, no worries we've given you guys credit in our project reveal announcement and also in the published paper. "Itsuku: a Memory-Hardened Proof-of-Work Scheme" https://eprint.iacr.org/2017/1168https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577267.msg25519288#msg25519288Thanks for organizing the bounty program. It was a pleasure seeing researchers from all sides collaborate towards a mutually beneficial outcome. Cheers! This... is... big !

Dmitry and Alex are also completing their MTPv2 paper so we are also excited to see what they have. We really appreciated your feedback especially from Fabien and Hidetoshi and happy that the bounty competition stimulated good discussion. If we do adopt Itsuku, we will definitely be open to collaborating.

Hi, love the project, got a lot of zcoin, unfortunately Im in for the anonymity and not the tech I downloaded the wallet, encrypted it but I cant figure out how to get my private keys.... I came across this reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/zcoin/comments/7gr877/private_key_question/Is thats the way to do it? And if so, how can I acess my Zcoin Wallet from a different computer? This might be obvious and easy for every techie out there but me and a lot of others are lost...as I stated above I love the fundamentals about this project but in my opinion you need to step up your UI and Marketing game. How is it possible that there aren't 10 tutorials on your homepage for newbies like me. There is one short vid about the wallet and a short faq section.... Actually there is some good marketing advice on reddit as well: https://www.reddit.com/r/zcoin/comments/7hihdw/marketing_approaches_that_not_many_coins_are/Long story short, keep up the great work but dont forget that crypto is completely unkown to most people out there

https://zcoin.io/testnet-binaries-znode-gui/We are approaching release of Znodes and thank you for your patience. We know we missed the first week of December but wanted to ensure a stable release and thank you for your understanding. We would like to thank the community for their participation on the public testnet and are rolling out test release binaries to open it up to a greater audience for a final round of testing. WARNING:These binaries need to be run with the flag -testnet. Please ensure you’re not using these binaries on mainnet or on your real wallet. We will not be responsible for any loss. As always, always a good idea to do a backup of your wallet.dat by clicking on File>Backup Wallet and then saving your wallet.dat in another location (or even better another drive). It is still however NOT recommended for casual users. If the instructions below don’t make sense, we don’t recommend you test and just wait a bit more for the final release. Read the blog for more details and download links.
