I am expecting big things from v2. Just the ARK pay and the low fees should generate some nice volume...then again I hope some "LISK style" marketing will follow. Those guys know their marketing...they are pumping every time they announce a shitty x.xx1 core upgrade. They must have released 29 versions of the same code already and created hype over it.
Just in case anyone missed the point od dynamic fees, Ark will be the world's first DPoS chain with dynamic fees, I wouldn't understimate this |

It's not hard to pump your own coin if you have the money to do so, many examples are around us. For example a well known case is BCH (at least the BCH we all knew before the fork). Bitcoin Cash was mainly owned by Bitmain and maybe 1 or 2 whales. BCH had the 4th position in market cap for a long time but not because it was an awesome project and people supported it, it was because its creators (1) were holding it and (2) burning some of the block rewards in secret (until it was discovered) to artificially pump the price. Another thing you can theoretically do is to print "stable" coins and buy your coin from the market to pump the price; I've heard about it but I haven't researched too much into it so I might be wrong about this one. In any case, we should be glad that when we're buying ARK, we're not actually funding a team's shady business or failed marketing.... I hope to see some marketing being done AFTER v2 though! |

Because people like to buy into hypes, empty promises..quick money but once they realize the hyped projects are pure scam and hyped shits it will be too late for them. It takes time and good hardworking developers to make a good project work and many people do not want to wait 2 to 3 years to see a project to be finally done and ready to be mass used and advertised. In such situations early investors that see potential in such projects are willing to wait, but the average Joe won't. |

We live in interesting times! By the way guys, remember to withdraw the coins you have in exchanges, especially if it's Cryptopia, they're known to take ages after a fork before they open withdraws/deposits again. |

Based on what ARKland has told to public channels, he had an accident in real life and was offline for many days, however the payment system was working automatically. However, maybe because he hadn't been online for a long time, people unvoted him and he fell out of the 51 positions. After that he came back and explained the situation, he also offered 100% profit share for the rest of November to compensate his voters for the days he was 52th and not forging. Now he has become a delegate again and he's paying 100% of his profit as he promised, but not for long obviously! He was paying 92% previously and I believe he'll be back to that percentage on Dec.1st. As for his contribution, he's doing raffles for the community, he's a moderator in sub-reddits ARK and Persona (a project built on ARK) and he's writing both proposals for ARK and guides for users ( https://medium.com/@ArkLand). So starting from today on week will take for complete the migration process. Monday is the day with main focus in relation to exchanges upgrading with new core v2. This blog explains everything in details what one can be interested to know. I would like to draw attention towards that interesting video about DPos which shows how it will works. Very useful article this is the wonderful effort of the team to make this procedure easy for other people. ARK will be next big thing in future it is still undervalued coin but it won't remain on this level for long time I think who missed to buy before they still have chance to buy before this rally. |

I would like to congratulate ARK for this very big achievement. What a milestone you have reached, this is huge! And I love the fact that you are not concerned about the market but on the development. That means that they are a team that has its focus on the development itself and not speculation and that is for the community the best mindset.
I am looking forward to new updates and milestones, which it seems that they are quite near. Even after a such a big update.

Launch of Ark Core v2 is at few hours wait now. A well planned and on scheduled launch is big thing in itself and hard work of developers behind the scene made all this possible. Let's next steps regarding delegates, forging and migration and then everything to start work in synchronization. It is tremendous example of development with lot of appreciation.
