Cryptopia has not yet opened trading, withdrawals, and deposits. Here is a recent tweet from them:

"The read only site will be live today, it will show balances as at 14th Jan 2019. Please use this site to reset passwords and 2FA credentials. We are finalising a rebate process for affected users, more details to follow. Thank you for your support during the last few weeks."

The good thing is that they are moving forward and balances remain intact!

Today reopening is a big move already now i don't see any reason on what stopping them to open the withdrawals of the first 24% secured wallet that they already said's "secure"

Im waiting for another update tomorrow to see what will be their next move for those users that is not affected by the hack

Since its still 24% they wont really re-open and they will surely do it when they completely done all in all.At least they are giving some updates as best as they can and complaints of
lost balances will arise after they completely resumed their service.

Twitter is the only medium we can use of on reading up next updates or progress.On my part once i do get my balance i wont turn back to use this exchange ever again.

I remember that cryptopia encouraged all users to use Google Authenticator/Authy or Cryptopia Authenticator as they say it's the highest level of security. They provided a security warning to those who are using low level of security which includes 2FA email and 2FA pincode. I have been using email auth before and that notification popped up as well in my cryptopia account, that's when I decided to change my 2FA settings.

Aside from that, there have been several issues of not receiving email codes too. Maybe another reason for them to discourage users of using it.

Update: We are well aware of market volatility in Crypto, our next phase will be introducing cancel-only mode for users to cancel any positions accordingly before the trade engine is turned back on for trading. We aim to have this on the site in the next few days.

There are accounts that have thousands of open orders. It may be cumbersome to redo all the strategy and having the most flexibility is best. If you want to cancel all, there's a button for this.

What i mean is, The Owner is surely have an option on their backend admin stuffs to cancel all orders in all trading pairs. So what's the need of a cancel-only version of the website.

And when the cancel-only website goes live they will provide another update that they are giving XXdays to everyone to cancel their trading orders.

This will cause another delay and buying them more time to tackle the MAIN PROBLEM of EVERYONE = WITHDRAWAL

to be very honest... i have NOT used their website for years! after i had a run in with their OH HOLIER THEN THOU team i decided to let them go to hell on their own!
and it looks like they did!
i actually laughed out loud when i heard they had to shut for being hacked!
i loved the idea that they finally had to shut their mouths and start listening  before spouting off again!
 and in my thoughts  and HOPES===
MASS EXODUS
anyone who leaves money there will surly have issues like now and before!
it is very unfortunate that the hackers only got a small portion . they should have emptied all their wallets!
sure that would mean the users would loose their funds... it would not have been the first to go down  and nor the last so it would only have been a hickup in the road!
this is my personal thoughts and if you dont like them...
 go put your cash back in their hands!

This was very close to closing cryptopia.
