Small update: Six GTX 750 Ti's will give you 50 MHash/s groestlcoin.  Who needs AMD R9 290's anymore Wink

But please be patient until we are able to release this in a way that AMD miners cannot steal our mojo.

the funny part is reading the repost of what you write on the sph thread  Grin

sph? you should link so we can read Wink

it's hashes not bit... so it is the metric system: Mega = 1e3 kilo = 1e6 (should be called Hz )

Hi,

Maybe this information can be nice for Cudaminer users here:

CUDAminer & KopiemTu v1.2 with pool manager - are available
works "out of the box" - just plug it in, add your pool information, and start mining, with little fuss overall

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=520998.0

Feedback is welcome! Smiley

This is Linux only?

Yes Cheesy
But:
"For the OS I'm using the one someone created just for these cards.
https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=16800.0
You can get and read about it there. It's linux but don't be scared its REALLY simple to get up and running and it just works."

So I wanted to set up my solo-mining to run like this https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=12353.0 but I haven't been able to figure out if it's doable with any of the limited failover options for nvidia yet.

Am I missing something obvious?  It's nice that us Nvidia guys are starting to catch up with the AMD crowd with the number of useful utilities, so great work everyone Smiley

There is an external failover support for Cudaminer/nvidia cards already:
https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=16800.msg152056#msg152056

It works quite nice.

as an update for anyone interested, i now have the web server displaying the algorithm that each instance is running, which changes from hvc to grs etc.
and here is a quick mocked up front end for it

it is all live so if i change a miner then it changes. doesn't work as i want sadly, i was unable to figure out how to send a command for -z which i wanted to create my own command to set the port so their all hard coded right now but it works.
i will be changing it soon so that it displays details about the gpu's like their current temps and fan speeds etc. but for now, it runs

call me lazy, but could you summarize what you want to do (beside making us read 300 lines of very compact text)

I am not sure if this what you want, but if you want to run on several coins in a raw, you just need to use --time-limit flag, that will kill cuda miner
then put several command in your bat file.

Basically I want to use stratum pools to grab new work for my rigs solo-mining on my LAN which should ensure they're always working on something new and not hashing away on something stale.

He was able to use the feature meant for failover to perform that task, but I'm not sure if it can be configured or would function the same on cudaminer.  I still need to look into it more so maybe this weekend I'll get something similar working.

I just set-up a 750TI in my home computer, next to my 760. Is it possible to use separate launch configs? I thought it was like "-l K6x32, T5x24" but that doesn't work Sad Can anyone help me? Smiley

EDIT: Found it! Just had to delete the space Tongue So it should be: "-l K6x32,T5x24"

You can, but I think you also need to specify the devices as well "-d 0,1"

hmm... I just had a strange problem with my rig and groestlcoin under ubuntu 13.10.

after a few hashes, the hasrate jumped to an insane value (like 656476246356 khash). The rig was mining another coin (with cudaminer) for days before without problems. I stoped ccminer, and restarted it, but after 2-3 hashes, it also went to that high hasrate (shares seem to be accepted, at least it shows a yay). I restarted the rig, and so far everything looks good. anyone knows why this happens?

Edit: just happened again. seems that one card fails (temp goes down). nothing is overclocked, all stock :/

current groestlcoin performance on 3 GTX 780Ti (only mild overclock)

Code:

[2014-04-11 01:54:46] accepted: 112/112 (100.00%), 29190 khash/s (yay!!!)

[2014-04-11 01:54:54] accepted: 114/114 (100.00%), 29186 khash/s (yay!!!)

I am sure we can do better Wink

Christian

how's this?

Code:
[2014-04-11 20:33:32] accepted: 10/10 (100.00%), 37994 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-04-11 20:33:43] accepted: 11/11 (100.00%), 38001 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-04-11 20:33:45] accepted: 12/12 (100.00%), 38024 khash/s (yay!!!)

Can we top 40 MHash with 3 GTX 780Ti 's ? TDP use is at 180 Watts. The
cards have more headroom.
