Hi all, I am back and I have pulled together a rig at last. My config is

CPU - i5 4670
MB - Asus Z87-PRO
RAM - 8 GB
GPU - 3 x Msi 750ti OC
PSU - Seasonic 1000W Platinum
Storage - 250GB SSD & 1TB HDD

Thanks to all those who helped me put this together. I am thinking of mining MYR or GRS using this rig. I would be mining this week for all those who helped me get this rig done. I remember following persons

1. bigjme - will mine 2 days for you as you are providing everyone with ccminer 0.6.1
2. liomojo1 - 1 day for you
3. ivanlabrie - 1 day for you
4. christian - 2 days for you

If I forgot someone please remind me and I will do 1 day for you too every sunday. Please provide me with a GRS or MYR addy so I can send you the coins. You can also suggest a coin I can mine and give me the config for 750ti. Thanks to all of you who helped.

congrats on finding a rig, as for the mining for me, please mine for christian instead Smiley he does the magic, so its only fair. ooo and here is a config example for grs, well its my 750Ti config, just remember to set -d for the cards you want
ccminer.exe -q -s 1 -a groestl -d 1 -o stratum+tcp://erebor.dwarfpool.com:3345 -u Fm6SkXvoWEGMbzh5eC5RGBLbSFErXQ3Pd7.1 -p 1

as your using msi 750Ti's are they twin fans? if so i will share my card overclocks with you aswell for mining groestl

GPU - 3 x Msi 750ti OC

These are the same cards I have four of, and mining Groestlcoin I have them with raised TDP to 65w and OC'd +86 GPU/-502 MEM and they work just great.

I added two MSI TF Gaming 750ti as well and pull 271W at the wall mining Groestlcoin.

Pretty simple config

ccminer35 -a groestl -p 1 -q -o stratum+tcp://whateverpool:port -u wallet

Good luck, and not sure if he has an address but I think the 'other Christian' gets forgotten a lot, but I am sure he deserves some love for all this as well. Smiley

I have two TF models, and have been using +151 GPU/-502 MEM with TDP at 65W.

Was getting ~3305 Khash/s with that.

Would be interested to see what others are getting as well settings wise and mining Groestlcoin.

my groestl i am using +261 GPU/ -502 Memory
gets me 3505 khash/s

thats stock bios with no over-volting or raised tdp

quick question to christian, and i have been trying to figure this out but its cuda code, how does the miner assign an id to the cards through cuda?
ive noticed for a while that setting these devices actually run these cards

-d 0 starts on card 1, with busid 1
-d 1 actually starts on card 4, with busid 4
-d 2 actually starts on card 3, with busid 3
-d 3 actually starts on card 2, with busid 2

i know the main display card is always device 0, and cuda puts device 0 as the fastest device automatically. but how is it getting the rest? as i want to put in my temp readings but they use the actual card number and not the number used by the miner for cuda, so i need to reverse it to get the device id from the cuda id it uses, hopefully that makes sense

yes that is my groestl address, and for dwarf pool you set .1 or .2 for the number of devices, like a worker id
so the first card i would set .1 and the second .2 and so on
it lets them sort out diff for your miners

I pointed all 3 cards at string you gave me. Would that be wrong? I am getting 8800 khash/s i.e. 2933 khash/s per card. this is w/o OC on ccminer 0.6.1

About ccminer.
I just jumped into Groestl with 750tis.

- ccminer unoff package version 0.6 gives me about 2.5/2.6 MHS
- ccminer 0.5 using ccminer35 gives about 3.2/3.3 MHS

Thanks to all for your work.
I'll try to have a functionnal compile station to try help a bit too.

I have posted 2 compiled versions. One for 750 and one for 600 to 780

Which did you get?

First posted, I don't find the original post.

edit, some extra-infos :
Usual scrypt mining is 420 watts at the wall.
Groestl mining is 230 watts at the wall.
(6x 750 ti with stock voltage)

How are you managing 6x 750Ti's on 230W? My 3 are pulling 133W, on their own psu
I don`t know how you manage to mine at that watts, at scrypt (stock voltage - overclocked gpu to 1280mhz and mem to 3150mhz) my 6x750ti rig pulls at the wall 520w and on myrad with one ccminer window  260, and with 2 ccminer windows pulls 290w - here mem is 2600mhz.

Hello,

I've updated the Mac OS X binaries for CudaMiner [2014-02-28] to support both 5.5 and 6.0 versions of the CUDA toolkit: http://www.johnchapman.net/cudaminer/

I've also compiled the v0.5 and v0.6 versions of ccminer for Mac OS X: http://www.johnchapman.net/ccminer/

Lastly, I've also made a ccminer logo:

Cheers!

Re all.
Not here to talk about rig design but anyway :
KillAWatt says 460 for 6 cards mining dogecoin for example.
With 6x on Groestl is more about 260 (not 230 like I said).
Asrock H81 // 6x MSI 750ti twinfrozer on powered risers // 1x small SSD // PSU Corsair 750 gold // some wood :-) // overclock GPU+150 & RAM+150
edit : with always 1 instance of cudaminer or ccminer running. I avoid except if something goes wrong.
