curecoin I don't mind... but if this could avoid becoming the new X11 forum, that would be great
(I assume it is related to X11, however not obvious, because I grasped "X11" in the answer to this post...)

i entirely dislike x11 even though ive never mined it. i dont see why it is so popular, curecoin is atleast doing good for the world lol
Except that there's no way to know if your TEN HOURS OF WORK ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING... I mean I am not mad about the "lets have no feedback ever" program
what do you mean by "do something" ?
We run a complex simulation of the macro molecule... it may takes a long time before it gets of any use... (as Christian was saying yesterday, this is "mostly" fundamental research to understand biological processes and someday may-be that will help creating a cure for something... there is no straight path between running folding@home and finding a cure against cancer).
Actually would be nice if there was also an ADNdecoding@home

Well, it might not actually do something, or do something invalid if you overclocked and it results on incorrect math... which MIGHT happen for me but I will never know because I haven't been rewarded for other, non overclocked work, either...
ah that "do something"... well there is a log in the advance control windows, which tells if there are errors or if the cards behave strangely...

is there going to be compute 2.x version of ccminer v.1.0? I'm still left out on X11 Sad if dev could just approve that there NEVER is going to be another 2.x compute version, that would be ok for me. At least I would know. I guess, now I need to look for cheap 3.x compute cards Cheesy

It has been approved, because the methods used for X11 aren't compatible at all with compute 2.0

the newly optimized SIMD hash is so loaded with warp shuffles (a Compute 3.0 feature) that it won't be feasible to port it back to Compute 2.0.

Stick to the custom build of V1.0 for Compute 2.0 that someone posted in this thread earlier. It still has the slower SIMD hash, but at least it will run.

If you want to compile it for yourself, you'll need to delete the jackpotcoin, quark and animecoin files (and the compactiontests). After that you can compile it.

If you really can't compile it yourself, you could use my compile: https://github.com/KBomba/ccminer-KBomba/releases/tag/V1
This is not official! And future developments won't be included, the latest source for example doesn't work anymore for compute 2.1, but the initial ccminer V1.0 does :-)

I bookmarked this change set, so the next ccMiner may get it.

Is there a similar change set to make a cpuminer compatible with nicehash?

I have been looking into it, but I'm unfamiliar with larger software projects, I'm just a hobby-programmer, mostly in C# Tongue
The first two bugs here aren't a problem I guess, but the last one needs to be implemented and I don't know where to start xD

I was a bit sad... up until I saw that all the coins I sold back then would worth around 25 BTC today.
Oh well.

If it is any help, Darkcoin is what really got me to jump into mining in the first place, and I bought my entire rig with just the intent of mining on DRK.

Imagine how happy I was to sit here for two months with just 750 ti cards not being able to mine it at all really, but I learned so much and I am really happy to have been right at the start of this whole maxwell/nvidia invasion.

I started selling everything I could and buying DRK once I understood the system, but I really feel like I missed the boat on making some real money there because I just didn't understand the whole eco system yet.

Anyhow, I feel your pain at least a little bit.

Hello, im having probs with my ccminer...

I just started using it for 660ti, I opened and created bat with      ccminer35.exe -t 1 -a X11 -o stratum+tcp://stratum-eu.suchpool.pw:3331 -u name -p x

I wanted to mine x11 SYNC coin. I used ccminer35 and 30, but everytime it looked like it would open, the command line window would close and ccminer.exe get deleted, I do not know why! I really want to mine x11 with my nvidia card. I havent used it to mine scrypt or other algo before, so Im pretty sure i have done some big mistake, but still cannot understard why the exe would get deleted!

Normally only the ccminer30.exe should work fine for a 660ti, you can check it here too: https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus
And why are you using the -t flag? Are you mining on only one GPU? I'd advice using the -d flag for that.

But in your specific case, I suppose it's your antivirus/-spyware acting up; as soon as you run something he thinks, falsely, is some virus/spyware, he deletes it in an instant. Try whitelisting ccminer (all versions) or disabling your AV altogether.

Hey Nvidia Army, Nicehash is currently paying almost 5 BTC/GH/Day/X11.
Even Curecoin cannot beat this.
