I loved investment,,, I have been talking about it recently a lot as well,,, it is the key reason I join and play dice:) I had zero idea of the things happening behind the scenes when managing open investments so I guess this is an eye opener.

Wow pretty sad to hear that in Sept you guys are closing the investments. Its bad for many of the long term BTC hodl'r that want to put their BTC to work instead of leaving it in cold storage which does nothing.

I am glad that you admitted that you were fully confident of YOLODice security but still in the back of your mind you were worried about all those millions which you invested for other people and the thought of losing it somehow was devastation that it caused you to lose sleep. Its good that you actually take people's security seriously unlike some websites out there.

So hope the new model works out for you and if you decide to bring back the investments thats great but for now I hope your new program improves the site overall.

Having investments available attracted not only players, but people seeing cryptocurrency as "money evolved" in general - I will miss it for sure.

On the other hand I think we might come with something that would bring all sorts of crypto geeks sometime in the future. I am just not yet sure what it would be and when.

For now, I hope YD will evolve a bit and we'll gain some momentum.

One thing for sure - keeping investors' coins is stressful as hell. Realizing you keep equivalents of millions of dollars and people trust you with such amounts is a source of great encouragement, but the responsibility is huge. We had no issue with coin security, but this doesn't mean I sleep well, even though I am pretty confident in YD security.

That is glad to know that the owner of YD showing concern to the investor's money. I didn't have doubt on the honesty this owner had. For how many months I have here I didn't see any serious complaints regarding your gambling site, that is good achievements for you. Anyway, players can still play even investments model disabled. Even though it feels sad that losing an opportunity for investors to invest in Yolodice but who knows the team will decide soon to reopen it again.

I wonder what percentage of current bankrolls is owned by Ethan himself, but unless it's very high I think this is going to be very bad for the casino. I'd understand not allowing more investments if he considers current bankrolls are big enough, but if now they tank, wagered is going to drop a lot. Anyway, it's his choice. account was banned for repeating posts regarding weekly contests and other stuffs
but the other admin account is still active and he can post whenever he wants , having account banned shouldn't affect the site that much
but exo is suffering at the moment just because they were part of moneypot and now they left moneypot ( moneypot is closing now anyways )

they have some unique games , so traffic can change anytime

bankroll there is still small comparing it with the wagers , so returns were better for the investors

It is the fastest, if you're not betting dust.  All I play is small win chances / high payouts, and I get 4-6 bets/second, and I am very far from YD servers.  People living close to the YD servers in EU get 20+ bets per second.

Bet delays are also reduced if you're above Level 10 (or maybe it's 11?).  I'm not sure of the level, because I've been Level 18 for a while now.  Dustin would probably know, if you ask him.

Out of all the sites I've played on, YD is by far the fastest, even with small-ish amounts.

Aside from that, why would any site let you place tiny dust bets (ex. under 50 satoshi) really fast?  All that would do is let everyone do it, and then bets would be slow for everyone anyway because the servers would be overloaded.

I used to play yolodice, and it’s not necessary to lie that you play at low odds, or do you want to say that at a chance of 0.0001 you start at a 100 satosh bet? I left this dice after they further reduced the rate of bets, now I play in another casino minimum bet 10 satosh, 5-7 bets per second, and you probably play on chance 1 so this is not a small chance.
 yolodice is very slow and it’s stupid to put 1000 satoshi at 0.01 chance or 0.1 chance

Are you joking? I think yolodice has the fast roll here and it is very smooth to play by using their bot. Are  you sure your bet is slow? Small chances sure will give you a big payout but to have this small amount of betting, I do not think it is really big problem because even you starting with 1 sat, it wll slowly increase to their minimum bet so it will be fast again. Btw no site are going to give you fast roll by playing small amount. Please try to understand this condition

Not only that,,, I would add also that I am sometimes forced to play from a server connecting through another server (because that is how it is set up in my connection, please do not ask;) ). And still, yolodice lets me bet very small amounts reasonably fast.

+1. I think this is a terrible move unless most of the current bankroll is already from the owners. And it's also quite ugly towards current investors. I bought a lot of Doge just to invest them here when they were around 60 satoshis each.
