few hours back someone invested like 4000 LTC in the YOLOdice bankroll   it almost halved the rest of the investor's percentage share in the bankroll.

What the heck? That's a hell amount of money. How can someone risk a huge amount of money that is round $ 169,000  

This made me to finally decide to invest the payout in my signature campaign. I'll be posting my investment as soon as possible after getting my payout and I am so excited about this!

Edit: If there is someone who has a major contribution in the bankroll, Is it dangerous to other investors if that whale decided to divest his investment? Will it affect other cryptocurrency or just that particular coin?

Definitely this is huge amount of money invested and never thought somebody could just invest without diversifying under one thing only. I think only for LTC it will divest it and rest of the coin the things would remain same. But yes, once he withdraws suddenly all the % of share will be back to normal and will depend upon how long it will be staying invested.

That is literally what you can expect from an share based investment opportunity, everyone gets around the same amount of ups and downs because many people are making different deposits and investments and that means new inflow of money will lead to bigger bets and bigger profits to house hence if house makes 10 bitcoin and you get 10% that is 1 bitcoin, and if your share goes down to 5% but house makes 20 bitcoins profits still you may make the same 1 bitcoin profits.

Those happens all the time and I think profiting is a lot more frequent however that doesn't mean there won't be any lows neither, I am sure there are many lows in the investment world anyway so let's not act like this is rare.

When you invest something as big as 4000 litecoins that is expected to actually cover a big part of the bankroll. I mean the other people were pretty big before that as well, not like this is the first big one there (the biggest for sure but others had a pretty big % before this one). When you are investing you do not really look at how much you invest but more like how much % of the general you are part of and with this many people got dwarved.

If you are feeling like you are missing out or something, just keep on investing and do not divest and eventually you will get high enough to matter once again. This is just the start, the longer it stays here the more investment it will get and the more investment it gets the smaller that 4000 ltc will be starting to look like, even if nobody invests that much.

I've seen BTC whales and DOGE whales but this is the first time for Litecoin, I don't even have 1% of his holding!

Anyway, I've been seeing investments opening up again, tried to read back as many posts as I could but is it fair to summarize that you closed investments to see if would bring better results, then reopened them because it didn't work out? Or was it just a response to ready investors (demand)?

Just a small time public bankroll investor here and my experience has been pretty awesome, but looking to diversify.

It is a big deal if goes on like this for a while, I mean if it is just one time that doesn't sound like a big deal but think about tens of people who invest around those levels, now THAT would be a big thing. Of course it will take time but this increased the bankroll a lot and allows people to gamble with LTC a lot more as well which is an important part and the more money people could play that means more people will invest.

I think all by itself this isn't a big deal but it could be the first step to make something great in the future if it continues and could be considered like a stepping stone for a bigger milestone. Or maybe it will basically be nothing and this will be even gone after a while when it doesn't make money and will amount to nothing.

It is quite impressive albeit nerve wracking to put that large sum of cryptos into a site. Many have been foolish enough thinking it will be their one way ticket to fortune, but it takes skill, especially in poker and other card related games. Some say luck, some say its chance. Only a few would say it is a skill that can be taught and learned and developed. So cheers to all of the risk takers out there.

Well, he will be making a decent salary worth of profit from just that investment but do not forget that in order to make that much money he also put in over 170 thousand dollars as well. When you put in over 170 thousand dollars into something that is not stable like let's say savings account in a bank that gives you a set amount of rate for savings, you will be getting a decent amount anyway.

There is a chance dude could even lose money, I know we are in a casino and losing money is unlikely possibility since the house edge is on his side so in the long run he will make money, but it doesn't mean that there is no risk for some whale coming up and making him lose some of his money neither. So, that dude put in money that we wouldn't be brave enough to put into something that is slightly risky, he deserves all the money he makes.

Actually I hit my second one 2 hours after posting that one too (autobet as well)! The odds are actually quite "high" since you have to only hit x77777 so that is just 1 in 200k (you also have to win) but I guess I have not been very lucky in the past, so now 2 hits in my lifetime just hours apart,,, small amount too but 100x the wager is still nice

I do try with larger amounts of 10k satoshi every now and then but no luck yet;)

I mean they have been working their ass off about investing like crazy for a long time now, they have been trying to perfect it as well, you can't just say that they haven't done anything. However this coding thing takes a lot of time, they even say that 80-20 rule applies on coding as well, 80 percent of the job gets done in 20 percent of the time and 20 percent of the job gets done in the 80 percent of the time.

So, it takes time to finish stuff, let them be this way for a while first and if you really let them be this way for a while, they will perfect the current version and after that they could start to work on something better for the future that people would want but that requires time and patience.

About the investment thing, I think they are doing what they know they can do and that is all we can ask for them. I would rather have a worse version done 100% perfectly rather than have a better version done 30% right, because that would create issues that we do not really want to see.

Yolodice also has improved from their early days on the casino part as well, games are much better right now and it is definitely a lot faster too, remember this is one of those places that started very early so all those improvements they have done over the years is something to really account for as well. Casinos do not work towards just one thing, they work on multiple things all at once.

Every profit is still a profit, whether you invest small or large amounts. For some, a small passive profit from a investment is better than taking the risk of gambling for a higher profit.

It's good that yolodice displays the stats on real time but a difference of 1% can go any side in anytime specially when the bankroll is small. As the bankroll rises and you let it stay for long, the profit would be much more predictable.

You can't expect a 4000 litecoin investment constantly, that is a rare thing. Definitely there could be a lot more 100-200 levels for example which would eventually drop the value of the 4000 ltc but you can't expect many 4000 litecoin type of situations, I think people would rather have like 40 people who invest 100 litecoin instead of one 4000, that way it would also be safe that if he leaves the bankroll would drop like hell but in 40 people who invest 100 ltc there won't be any leaving all together suddenly, even if half of them leaves at the same week, that would be 2000 litecoin still there.

So, I think 4000 litecoin is not a good thing for the website neither, it is just a bad thing that one person now has a monopoly in the investment section (for litecoin at least).
