Phinnaeus Gage, I don't know how you expected to get prove.

Scenario 1: CedarTec and Anonymousg64 are the same person
They would have known that they did not send such email and would know that backing you up would give you prove that they are lying
-> so they won't back you and we are back at the beginning

Scenario 2: CedarTec and Anonymousg64 are not the same person
CedarTec would know that they did not send you that email. They would also know that if they confirmed such email to Anonymousg64 that he would publish it on this forum which would give you prove that they are lying.
-> so they won't back you and we are back at the beginning

So in both cases we would get the same result and in both cases it would not give us any more knowledge.

Cedartec is the best make believe miner out there, shit if bfl had cedartecs price point it would be freaking amazing.  I think it could be a scam for the simple fact that shipping would cost 1-200 dollars according to dhl Lebanon's site, maybe I calculated it wrong but check it out and find the cheapest shipping.

Id advise anyone who has multiple orders to try and cancel, if they send bitcoin back reorder.
usually it takes a few hours to get a bitcoin address to send to, as long as they have not sent bitcoins their order will expire in 24hours from the time of receiving the address.

I do not believe they are a scam, but do not buy based on what i think

For the moment we are waiting for these promises to be fulfilled:

-livestats
-better video
-better pictures
-updated information on the website
-summary for the past 2 years of the development
-bruno me(iwish) getting a demo unit

Im trying to get an ETA on those from them and how long the expected delays will be for mass production.

I thought they said they were going to ship directly from their manufacturer in china

Quote from: dtmncnamara

Dear customer,

the units of the pre-order will be shiped from china, some of our employees will stay
there and control and test everything, before the units will be send.

I do not believe they are a scam,

Dude, it is very very obvious that this is a scam.
With the available information you should not believe, you should know.

google searches indicate Israel put a blockade on them and later lifted that blockade in 2006

Well, this is all nonsense. Rationally there is no proof that cedartec is real. The only proof would be that they will send CT-80 at 14 of May, with publishing of chinese manufacturers. Noone should buy until that. Now, I lost my hope about cedartec and this forum; there are many trolls. I will not write here until that date.

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending

Don't let the cat outta the bag yet, until we see what reply Anonymousg64 claims to get.

For the life of me I can't see how they would fully communicate with him not with more respected members, hence believing they are the same person.

My guess is that within 30 minutes he'll have a reply from CedarTec stating that my email from them is bogus, which is true. Feel free to let the cat outta the bag first if I miss the opportunity.

BTW, fully reimburst is a term I could easily cover, albeit fully reimburse is not. If a person gets scammed due to their fuckin' stupidity, I would fully reimburst them with: Dude, you are fully reimburst!

Feel free to submit this PM in full when you feel the time is right. I will confirm your action.

Later, bud.

So amongst all the bizarre and deliberate confusion in which I believe was meant to be an attempt to ensnare anonymousg64 (although I'm not entirely sure how myself), nothing changes and Cedertec are not sending out any demo models, neither is Phinneaus Gage guaranteeing any pre-sales.

This for all intents and purposes still is a blatant Scam, although now even more confused without the addition of being fed further BS from Cedertec.

It's a welcome, sunny day here and I have better things to be getting on with now. Personally I suggest stepping away from the computer, especially this thread as it's over now. There is and never was a Cedertec CT-80. At no point have they provided anything remotely convincing they just rely on your fear and greed to make uniformed judgement calls. In my opinion Cedertec are dead in the water and this thread now should be closed and shelved in the Scam forum. For those that have lost monies, you have to see it as a learning experience. Some of you still fronted cash when everyone else was screaming at you not to.

Their domain and web hosting will probably be shut down soon if they do not prove they are legitimate as well as this forum thread

Didn't find a Cedartec company in the Lebanese registry of commerce. The address is valid but since you don't use street numbers in LB, just use Google maps and pick a street. Voilà, official address! Smiley

Meh.... I have friends in Beirut, for ... local pickup Smiley

This was my thought as well...just had no idea what he was trying to prove.  I think many of us had the notion that perhaps Anon was a shrill (no offense mate), but this stunt did nothing to prove/disprove that either way.  This whole thread is like a Christopher Guest movie.

For all those unfortunately stung, please read and follow through with a complaint.

I believe the site was registered in Iceland, this link shows you where and how to take action. As the following states it is still worth reporting to the FTC even if the site is located outside the US. It's the best way of uncovering their IP address even if using a VPN.

Best wishes.

The domain is registered in Iceland with orangewebsite.com but probably paid for in BTC since they accept it, and the domain contact is a hotmail address.

I'd be very very interested in seeing if they will refund anyone, if they do that wouldn't really prove anything but it would be interesting
