What do you mean by "zcashd" I've got the same cards btw, pretty happy with 740ish sol/s, but 900-1k sol/s is damn impressive!

"zcashd" (you could use Google) is a wallet/miner/distributed-block-checker available from https://z.cash
Those 900-1000's are spikes for which I'm trying to find an explanation (?VarDiff?).
Still, I'm close to around 875 Sol/s now but power supply is limited (not a single decent PSU available in Holland)
If you are a linux user I could help you with the output.....

The only explanation I can think of for the recent spikes in sol/s is perhaps the difficulty level dropping recently? I've noticed the difficulty level plateau and even drop after the ZEC price adjustment. Maybe people are switching their miners over to other currencies?

1080ti mining with EWBF's CUDA Zcash 0.3.4b miner? Is it broken.

current results are
1080ti = 76 sol/s
1080 = 505 sol/s
1060 6gb = 290 sol/s

Or am I missing a setting for the TI's.  I would thing it would be closer to (1080) 505sol/s + (1060) 290sol/s = 795 Sol/s (1080Ti)?

1st post and new to mining, any info would help.

thank you DJ.

I get 800 sols on an EVGA hybrid 1080Ti and 600 sols on an EVGA hybrid 1080, something is wrong for sure

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

thank for the reply, are you using 0.3.4b and what do you use on  the command line to start?

EDIT:  I am running a gigabyte 1080Ti.

edit edit: GPU is at 100% and temps about 63c fan at 40%

and I am running linux mint 18.1 (a ubuntu 16.4 build)

In events only that system was shutdown unexpectedly - because of starting miner. i tried do under clock GPU and memory but it not helped. not works. very weird

Put each riser on 1 separate sata line from PSU. One with disk/ssd can share with one card.
[/quote]
Problem soved. i added one more PSU 500W for one card and for now is OK. But it realy strange that Gigabyte 1200W Platinum (XP1200M) not enougth capasity for rig with 3 * GTX 1080ti.

@alred911 use firefox and the mega download.
@desertEagle I have 3 gigabyte 1080ti's on a 1000W with CPU/RAM/SSD pulls about 810W just a little above the 80% rule.

I believe that found a bug with the 0.3.4b linux version not running the 1080Ti correctly.

Same system but windows 10 64, getting better results but still not 800 sol/s like  fanatic26 said he is getting.

results
gigabyte 1080ti = 550 sol/s
evga 1080 = 500 sol/s
zotac 1060 = 300 sol/s

thank you DJ.

Edit : This normal?

I make 580~600 sol/s at 55% Power Limit, +230 Core Clock and -502 Memory Clock on a EVGA 1080Ti FE. I believe I got lucky on this one, but you can try to do the same settings.

I tried to CPU mine via nheqminer to check if the hashrate would increase in EWBF like a few of you reported. I didn't have any increase, in fact, I had a small decrease of sol/s on my 2x 1080Ti rig.

MINING WITH CPU AND GPU WITH ONLY NHEQMINER RESULTS IN BOOSTED HASHRATE--

However, I haven't tried Nheqminer plus EWBF.  I have not used Nheqminer in months, either.       --scryptr

i found this one on system log...

Use Display Driver Unistaller to completely remove any AMD drivers, then reboot.  Repeat the process to remove any Nvidia drivers, reboot.

Then re-install Nvidia drivers.  It will probably recognize all your cards if you try that.

Give it a shot, it will only take 5 - 10 minutes.

I may have a stumbled in a bug.

I have two gpus, with following data:

Code:
❯ nvidia-smi --query-gpu=timestamp,name,pstate,utilization.gpu,clocks.sm,clocks.mem,clocks.gr --format=csv

timestamp,               name,                 pstate, utilization.gpu [%], clocks.current.sm [MHz], clocks.current.memory [MHz], clocks.current.graphics [MHz]
2017/07/13 01:45:49.892, GeForce GTX 970,      P0,      100 %,              1521 MHz,                3564 MHz,                    1521 MHz
2017/07/13 01:45:49.892, GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, P2,      100 %,              1936 MHz,                3802 MHz,                    1936 MHz

However while mining all day sometimes gpus crash and I get miner without any hash/s.

I'm running miner with following command:

Code:
❯ while sleep 1;do ./miner --server us1-zcash.flypool.org --user <hash>.$(hostname)_gpu --pass x --port 3333 --templimit 75 --tempunits C --api 0.0.0.0:42000 --pec --cuda_devices 0 1 --eexit 3;echo "\n\nDEAD\n\n";sleep 1m;done

and that's output of miner:

Code:

and then that keep like that as long I saw the problem (at least 30 minutes).

So I'm thinking why even with --eexit 3 miner didn't restart properly. My solution was to do kill it in another script:

Code:
❯ while sleep 10;do curl --silent "http://localhost:42000/getstat" |grep '"speed_sps":0' && (pkill miner && echo "killed" && sleep 5m);done

Who can help me? How I can help improvement of miner Smiley?

Big thx!

Nope.  I've seen the hash rate increase slightly by activating XMR-STAK (monero CPU mining) while the GPUs work away on Zcash.

Seen this on Ryzen and on an i3 rig.

Yes. Confirm.

Hi. I have EVGA GTX 1080 but my speed is 560 sol.
- Core Clock = +90 (1949MHZ)
- Memory Clock +940 (5454 MHZ)

What settings do you have?

Thanks for your work.
I am using this miner with my old GTX 770 2GB. Getting a steady 70 Sol/s using --solver 3, while with the other solvers I'm getting around 60 Sol/s.

Yea, that is definitely what I have heard from others, using NHEQMINER to mine both CPU and GPU boosts the GPU hashrate.  Seems to be an increase from anywhere from 50 to 100 sol/s.  So far though, only in linux. Maybe EWBF knows the wizardry behind this?

Guys, could you tell me please how to see the average hashrate on the miner? I know that pools show this info but it's incorrect sometimes.

So I can see only current speed...

Thank you!

Thank you!

You have to wait approx 24 hrs before you seen an accurate average hashrate.  For example, nanopool gives you pretty wild current hashrates, but their 6hr, 12hr and 24hr hashrates give you a good overall average.
