Thanks for your advice. Im trying to, but get nowhere. My 3 1080 TIs trouble me, had them running for 7 days straight, now in the last 3 days they have stopped 5 times without me having changed anything (except your afterburner hint come to think of it, but that can't be it). It kinda sucks to wake up to idling machines...
Have you tried the --eexit 1 parameter with a simple :start, goto start loop in a batch file? It did wonders for me when i was trying to find a stable long time running overclock. Thanks for the tip, all set up and running for both rigs. Now it's time to wait and see!

It worked on my laptop. But its performance was not so good with my GeForce GTX 1050Ti...

review of EWBF's cuda miner:
in its current state!
Pro's
-fastest miner for zcash for cuda (atleast for 1000 series gpus) -stats of miner shows Efficency (sols per watt), power consumption
Con's
-mining softwares built in web server (novel idea but just horrible to have to open many browser windows just to check on rigs) -can only check on rigs with said web server, cannot control rig what so ever -mining software can barely restart gpu threads -no watchdog of any sorts (meaning mining software cant really do much) -no centralized information -mining software crash's rig for no apparent reason (which leads back to why it should have a watchdog of sorts if things something goes wrong) -lack of updates to the program to indicate progress - 2 percent dev fee that has yet to be deserved
with all this said, its hard to justify giving him 2 percent with all his program lacks, he isn't claymore therefore why does he seem to think he should get 2 percent for something that's at best incomplete?
just cause its the fastest at mining zcash doesn't make it the best, but what this all could say is he is just out to get mine and your money without fully earning it, and before anyone mentions the --fee 0 id like to point out that you get a reduced hashrate if you use that just like with claymores when you use his with his version of the no fee's, you get a slower miner

Can someone comment something on mining hashrates on Windows and Linux? I tried simplemining on my test machine with one gtx1080 and it seemed for me that Windows has far more better result. Tho there comes a lot of variables Ill try to compare stock 1080 again so I can compare both. Does Linux nvidia driver play a big role in hashrates? Shoul I bother trying updating Nvidia drivers on simpleminer-NV-v1103-kernel4.11.4-nvidia375.66-i915fw.imgc?
edit: on stock windows ewbf 540 sols on linux 495

Is there any sign of a new version, or EWBF thinks his job is over?

Yes, he's approaching maximum efficiency and will only have nominal gains for tons of work. You may get another update or you might have to wait until Nvidia releases next gen cards.

Unfortunately i did not work and one rig went to 0 Sol/s (the miner did not exit) and another time the miner lost connection and did not attempt to reconnect @Saki3d @NvidiaMining Better solution for restart miner on error and stuck GPU with 0 sols. Would it be possible to also include a line saying "if the miner has been restarted ("%varForc%") 3 times reboot the pc? You got beer money coming to your ZEC wallet either way

The GTX 1050ti isn't exactly a high-end GPU, expecting it to get high sol/s is silly.

Thanks for the quick reply and your support, much appreciated! I have added another condition by copying and replacing: IF %varForc% EQU 3 ( ... with IF %varRuns% EQU 5 ( ... No other parameters are needed, right? Beer sent in e22451af6eb8165c08c5b02759b52797a088c688bb9951b60042dc9b7ed7677e, thanks again!

Isn't it better to know when the miner stops, freezes or something? Because it tells you have some HW problem. I have an app on my phone, called FlyPool Monitor, and I get a push notification if any of my rigs goes offline, so I can check them, lower the frequency. But, I have another problem. Is there any way to delay miner startup, because when my power goes out, and comes back in, my main cable modem needs more time to connect then my rigs to boot up? Miner detects no connection, and then just closes itself, so I must run it on every rig manualy.

what model of the 1070 do you have? 314 Sol/s sounds awful, i get stable 460-470 Sol/s with my 1070's

Because it tells you have some HW problem. I have an app on my phone, called FlyPool Monitor, and I get a push notification if any of my rigs goes offline, so I can check them, lower the frequency.
In theory, yes. But i do not have access to my rigs constantly as I do not live where i work (2.5 hours of driving, separate appartments). They may run for 7 days straight, then have hiccups, other times they manage only 2 days. My GPUs are heavily overclocked and underpowered (because my power is very expensive) and i cannot expect EWBF-software to work constantly under those circumstances. I have lowered the overclocking on 1 of the rigs by 5 percent again, so far both are running fine. For me this is an investment (not necessarily short term) but the rigs need to run somehow. But, I have another problem. Is there any way to delay miner startup, because when my power goes out, and comes back in, my main cable modem needs more time to connect then my rigs to boot up? Miner detects no connection, and then just closes itself, so I must run it on every rig manualy. I can help you with that, one rig needed that too :-) You need to create a .bat file and copy the following: ------- @echo off echo The programm will wait for 60 seconds until EWBF miner is being started timeout 60 start "EWBF-0.3.4b" NAME_OF_THE_PROGRAMM_YOU_WANT_TO_START ------- "timeout 60" specifies the waiting time in seconds, "NAME_OF_THE_PROGRAMM_YOU_WANT_TO_START" needs to be adjusted by you, depending on the name of your batch file. If you use config it should be "Miner.exe". Please note that this batch file needs to be in the same location as your miner. If it does what you like you can include a link to in your startup menu (windows + r --> shell:startup). Happy mining
