Well, you haven't turned on memory timing mods, so... Also, I noticed you are not using the latest version of GGS.

Actually, I prepared only two sets of default values for memory timing mods so far: one for RX 480/580 Samsung GDDR5, and the other is for RX 470/570 Hynix GDDR5. You can find these default settings in the DeviceSettings folder. I will work on other cards tomorrow, so no worries.

RX 570 Hynix : 975-996 h/s

Thanks ,
1.3.7 is stable and fast on opening.  Smiley
You 570 cards is 8Gb hynix MJR or 4Gb hynix AJR memory?
If they are 8Gb hynix MJR than the results as on scrren possible only on Sapphire Nitro+ cards. Because other low end cards with 8Gb hynix MJR memory can't run on 2150-2160MHz memory clock on strap what you're using.
On MSI Gaming X 8Gb with hynix memory max 2100Mhz. So it's speed will be lower and max about 940-950 h/s.
Are your use "GOOD" hynix mjr strap?

Well, you haven't turned on memory timing mods, so... Also, I noticed you are not using the latest version of GGS.
Actually, I am surprised some of you guys are getting excellent results with Hynix memory as the default values aren't very good yet. In any case, I will work on default settings tomorrow with new graphics cards, so no worries.
Default memory timings on hynix MJR memory is real piece of Sh*t!
To achive 860-920 h/s on hynix MJR memory it's need at least to mod bios with help of "GOOD" hynix MJR memory timing strap.
This strap:
777000000000000022AA1C00B56A6D46C0551017BE8E060C006AE6000C081420EA8900AB0300000 01B162C31C0313F17

Also it's may to try doctor's strap from theme about his SRB miner:
999000000000000022339D00CEDD6B4470551414B80D960B0040C400750314204A8900A00200000 018123745B92B3A16
clock speed is only 2085MHz.

Well, if you are using RX 580, you will get timings for Samsung GDDR5 at the moment.
Also, existing straps do not necessarily work with GGS.
I would appreciate if you could watch out for your language. I don't want to block you, really.

With the "GOOD hynix" straps (I believe you are referring to the one click mod) I can only get around 800.

zawawa, what other stuff do you need to have installed in order for your software to work properly?

Yes I using samsung memory strap for now but MSI hynix MJR memory is so bad... Best what i can find is samsung mix from 1750/2000Mhz strap finded on net in site where ubermix is printed.
Speed on MSI I can reach is max 935 h/s on GGS and 985 h/s on SRB miner with 1250 core clock.

Nitro+ cards with the same hynix mjr memory is can achive 1k h/s because his memory runs on higher memory clock with the same timings without errors and glitches.

Thanks for info. Where you take from this timings? Can you copy paste 1750+ strap here?

EDIT: Ohhh. As I thought. Your cards are 4Gb and on hynix AJR memory. Straps from it didn't work on MJR memory.

Thanks for your suggestion.

So i turned on the memory timings and update GGS.

A little better but not so much, total 870mh/s for a 580 8gb samsung memory.

Yes, it's hynix MJR memory.
SRB miner works with worksize 8 and threads 2. Playing only with intensity gives higher results. In GGS maximum result achived with intensity is 3-5% lower.
Maybe his cryptonights kernels better? Or something else... You must know about it more ))))

Notices:
His intensity works onother way, than GGS, thats means, i think, that his CN kernel builded another way?
Best results on SRB is on intensity 64,72,80,94,108
Intensity higher 112-116 starts to give drops in speed to 0 h/s (close to 8Gb memory used???)
On GGS best results on my hynix MJR is only on 128 or 144 intensity. Any other vairants of intensity gives slower speed. Different mod bioses tried - same dependenses.

Maybe it helps you to understand where the dog is buried...

Other cards can achieve 1k+ as well, it depends on the memory and asic of the cards.
You make it sound like Nitro+ are then only good cards out there Smiley

About the kernels; I think that both kernels for CryptoNight, GGS's and SRBMiner's are taken from SG-Miner-GM, which means that both are written by zawawa  Cool
Maybe i'm wrong and Doktor83 wrote his own kernel, but i doubt it, i'll ask him.

But, like I've said before, its strange how i cant come close to SG-Miner hashing speed with GGS although you wrote both kernels dude  Cheesy

Anyway, kudos to both developers for trying hard, although zawawa took on a much much bigger project that is gonna take a lot of time to perfect.
I hope your doing OK dude, i know how much dedication it takes to create something like this and what impact it has on social life.
I will test the new version and see if its lighter as you say, because my main concern here is the UI and how much impact it actually has on the speed and system, not to be rude or anything, but for my taste its getting way to much bloated.

There really are a ton of options in there, and that's great as it shows you have the big picture, but personally i don't need 95% of them if i'm mining a single algorithm.

Since there is so much of everything i think that in the future i would be wise to offer an option to select a single or all algos option at the start so we can only keep setting for the algo we are actually using.
I think that it would lighten things up even further.

And of course, to ensure your well being, income, further development and good support like we had so far, you probably want to attract a wide crowd of people mining different algos.
Maybe i'm wrong and your doing this just for fun  Cheesy

But i think there is quite a big section of miners that are avoiding you miner just because of the UI; CMD based miners tend to be lighter, faster & more stable, which was recently, and still is, a success story for Doktor83 that attracted many Cryptonight miners.

Off to test the new version  Grin

The new version should be very "light."
At least I love it.
I've been using command-line tools since the days of MS-DOS Version 2.11 and was involved in several Linux-based project, but I just prefer GUI over CUI for some reason.
It is perhaps because, although I am quite diligent as a developer, I am pretty lazy as a user. Oh well.
