Well for me It's not a theft because it is the citizen obligation to pay tax to the government it becomes a theft for me when the government abuses the taxation and put tax in anyting they think they can be tax , here in the philippines they planning to tax when buying some make ups , gadgets and anything that contains sugar , what do you think guys? is this abuse or will this benefit the majority? well for me its an abuse

I'd be happy to pay 10%. Nowadays people are paying over 20% and have to pay VAT and excise on top of it, leading to something like 35-40%. This is a modern day slavery!

Then they also have a lot of gov employees who are also living off productive people's taxes.

Exactly, paying a fixed tax would be great, but they add taxes over taxes and you end up paying a lot more, paying 10 to 15% will be fine by me but after paying your income tax you need to pay taxes for your car, house and everything you buy or use.

You have to pay:
- a property tax, just for owning it. It's nothing but theft IMO.
- capital gains tax (when you keep your money in a bank it's deducted automatically)
- excise on certain goods like alcohol
- road tax
There are also inheritance tax, customs tax and other.

To get on topic though, I don't think proper taxation is theft. I think there should be a small price to pay if you wish to live in a society in which everyone contributes to in order to make it better.
