I think just the most grounded will survive, those are for me, monero zcash/zcoin and etheruem, litecoin maybe will survive in light of the fact that the group is candidly connected to it, and the dev is exceptionally agent

I would choose Dogecoin and Litecoin and  as far as I know that many altcoins that were launched the same year with them have already become a dead coin, so I think this coin will survive in the near future

I think those altcoins that are always on the top 10 marketcap will stay for sure until the very end. They are not a pump and dump coin and are very promising. They are all sleeping giants like ripple and nem that has always been quiet and everyone is just waiting for them to reach the the moon.

Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin

I believe that a lot of these projects will find specific solutions and ultimately benefit bitcoin. For example, zencash or zcash working on privatization off chain, could eventually be implemented into the core of bitcoin. It's best that each of these projects focus on solving one aspect of digital currency so that the entire space can benefit in the long run.

We might never know which altcoin will be the one that will survive for many years to come. However, you could always stick to those which are the most prominent in the markets and have active development like Ethereum and Litecoin.

Dogecoin is very popular among Dice sites, plus Doge have fast transaction time - you can send/receive in minutes. ETH is just big player, sale/buy quick profit via many users, in fact it is now very popular altcoin. Monero have great privacy option, many altcoins users like this

If I see a project that continues to develop, I will see ADA, eos and eth  they have a good development team, and I think they will continue to exist in the future.

Doge Coin and LiteCoin is a very nice coin and has its own network.

so it is unlikely that both of them could be obsolete.

thanks!

I believe that most of the Altcoin will survive. The problem is that only a few of them can survive, not all of them will arrive at the finish line

i think the altcoin will survive is ethrerum and bitcoin because these are the most demand and popular cryptocurrency we are using know and i believe that they will survive the market if its falling down and i know if that happened many of us will sell their coins rather but if you wait until it increase again it will raise and can grow our profit just believe and trust any altcoin you have. don't make any decision that you will regret in the end.

Altcoin that may survive until the future of Ethereum coins. Ethereum is worthy of being in the future and being Altcoin pride for all of us. Ethereum is best suited to be a long-term investment asset because the more we hold it longer the more profits we get. For me, Ethereum is the best Altcoin to date.

I feel REAL will survive as your investment goes in to real estate. So there is something physical backing your investment.

my opinion, if the coin bears some project, she will be living. If it really will be in demand among people. And not just another payment instrument Undecided

ETH and very few coins that are ETH based. On this list maybe some good old altcoin but newly ones in form of ICO most end up dead and very small amount of them are active or try top be active.
Probably top 10 or 20 coins on coinmarketcap can be relevant for this.

It all depends on how cryptocurrencies will develop. If in the future they will progress, many altcoins will only develop. In that case, if in the future cryptocurrencies fail, then ripple, Monero, Ethereum, Litcoin, NEM, NEO, Dash, IOTA will be able to survive from the altcoins.
