Yes, Ethereum is currently the most promising cryptocurrency on the market. In the future, it will have a better development. I think that the cryptocurrencies that will surely survive in the future will be the top ten cryptocurrencies of the market value. Investing in these risks will smaller.

Have you heard of DOT Com bubble ? I think cryptocurrency is following that history again , people start buying and buying but after a while this bubble would burst and only vey good coins and token can survive , those which really have done something and were not just some codes on white paper , coins like steem .

The Blockchain-based streaming service called Choon might be a good survivor. They are already doing really well, and both artists and listeners alike are going into an almost religion-like state these days! (Including myself)
Check out their roadmap and beta and judge for yourself though =)

Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future? In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong. Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term. I think maybe only 15 top coins that can survive in the future. Because we know many new coin coins with different innovations emerging almost every day and the greater the competition between the coins. But, i think altcoin will continue to survive as many investors are investing in it and crypto getting more popular today.

Of course many altcoins can survive for a long time, and I recommend investing in top 20 coins or tokens because I'm sure the future will continue to improve and its value will continue to increase.

Behind many of the tokens are companies whose success, should not depend from the price of the Etherium or Bitcoin or all crypto in general. It is, for example, such projects as Nucleus Vision, Basic Attention Token, it seems to me that many such projects will survive in the future and their percentage will be much greater than the percentage of currencies the purpose of which is just to act as payment means.

I completely agree with you, but I would limit that to the top 100 coins in CMC and my all time favorites will be Nano, Nebl, Dent and PRiVCY. I will continue to hold all these coins for at least a year and will continue to load my bags in every dip.
Not a bad idea, my friend. Investing into the top 100 altcoins in marketcap, is ideal since most of them have active development and promising features. I have noticed that everytime the price of each Bitcoin rises, altcoins rise in value too. Imagine, if Bitcoin reaches $1,000,000 within a few years, most altcoins within the top 100 marketcap rankings will rise in value too, making you wealthy if you stock up your bags right now. Honestly, among the coins you've mentioned, my most favorite is NANO. Last time I've tested it, and transactions were near instant with no fees at all! This is truly revolutionary, in my own opinion, and it could lead such altcoin to new heights. Since NANO is a DAG-based cryptocurrency, I think that it shouldn't have a problem of scalability in the future, unlike many popular coins such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. If it works just like IOTA does, then NANO would become much faster and better if more users transact in it. Therefore, NANO and most coins within the top 100 marketcap rankings will survive in the future if they could keep up with active development and innovation.

There are a lot of altcoin but among them I think Entherium will lead the market and be able to survive well. In the future there will be many other altcoins and will be rivals of Entherium

Well right now at the present there are many alternative crypto currencies that exist today all over the world. So there are many options for people to invest in. And most of them are gaining a lot of popularity among the people all over the world. And now the potential investors are also increasing in most of the alternative crypto currencies and they are ready to invest in them. But out of all the alternative crypto currencies I think that etherium is the best alternative crypto currency.

The team and the subcons who have a strong project will survive in the future. Even who will be much appreciated. Altcoins who can not fit the road map will not survive.

There are only a handful of alts which are deemed to survive in the future. The market is full of shitcoins and every now and then new ones are added into the market. In the long term, only the coins/tokens which has real world usage is gonna survive and the rest are gonna go down the drain.

All those who are on the top 3 at the moment are the ones that will always survive whatever it happens, so just invest in there if you are looking for a long term

Pundi X sends you an additional 7% of your coins held each month until the end of the year. So if you have 100 coins on your listed wallet or Coinbene Exchange, at the end of the month they send 7 coins to your wallet (Airdrop). This way you always increase, and you can wait out fluctuations.
Good crypto Project! Their creditcard machine (POS machine) takes direct crypto payments

I will go, on one hand, with altcoins that are traded in most exchanges. LTC, DOGE, ETH and XMR come to mind. At the very least, they will be useful to move money between exchanges without using BTC, and also their base markets are likely to be helpful.

Nothing is sure in the prices of altcoins so you shouldn't hold many of it a long time, the best thing for me is to sell them and get some btcs that's the safety why

I agree with you about LTC and DOGECOIN, according to what I see and researched their future is very bleak, I think it will be difficult for them to survive. There is nothing they can give to invite investors. This is a problem and they should fix it. I think that's my opinion.

I think, Monero, Litecoin, Ethereum, these coins will stay for long, may be for life. We will get a lot of coins in future. May be we will get even better coin. but it seems these 3 are valuable. they have large community support, active devs teams, large market cap, extensive trading volume. Over all they have large potentials. IMO they are leaders. If you have any other coin in mind, help me by sharing your opinion

Those altcoins that incorporate Artificial intelligence and useful platforms to make spending crypto easier will surely survive.. But, we can't predict exactly the coins/tokens that will make it in the future.. take Ftec for example, this looks promising and very helpful . So there is a big chance it can survive: https://ftec.ai
