Great news Tokens "with an underlying utility rather than a mere speculative investment value" include, for example, Brave's Basic Attention Token (BAT), iExec 's RLC, and the Gnosis token. But it seems evident that if these tokens become popular, their price will go up. plz get popular fast my RLC's are a sleeping giant <3

Jean-Charles Cabelguen is joining iExec as Chief Innovation & Adoption Officer, focusing on implementing blockchain strategy in industry and on developing global awareness for iExec.
Jean-Charles has a PhD in Science from ENSAM ParisTech and 12 years of experience working on international business development interacting with big players like EDF, Areva, Cegelec. As a digital entrepreneur, he also worked on go-to-market strategies and marketing campaign with more than 80 companies.
Jean-Charles on joining iExec
“I always define a vision for the coming years. From there, I focus on structuring the strategies and daily actions required to achieve that vision. My major task is to create the needed visibility to deploy the product worldwide. I see precisely how iExec will be a major component for breakthrough projects in AI, green IT, fog computing, IoT…
Focusing on the products and uses will allow us to provide exciting news for investors and efficient tools for developers. Working hand in hand with companies from all over the world will also be key to promote the adoption of adding blockchain to IT trends. That is also why I will represent iExec in the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance.
iExec is deeply about providing sustainable solutions for the future using state-of-the-art tools with an overriding purpose of creating genuine and massive transformations. I am honored to be part of this profound change and will do my utmost to craft and implement every possible strategy to support it.”

Dear iExec community members,
The Development Letter #9 is out! You will find new developments among which the new explorer that is now available to you.
We made a short video to show how iExec works: you can see how to launch a task, get the result back and verify all transactions using iExec's brand new explorer.
Last week, Gilles Fedak gave a keynote speech at France Digitale Day 2017, we had great feedbacks and the recap is available on our blog.
Also, iExec sponsored the USCC a Solidity contest which focused on smart contract security, and the second winner is invited to Lyon. Congrats to Richard Moore!
We're ready for Devcon 3! But we will also be at other events like SC'17 (Super Computing in Denver), NETVA program in San Francisco and the Innovation Awards here in Lyon, France.

In the article, they are talking a lot about DomRaider and the problem of scam icos
That's right, domraider did some weird stuffs with their Solidity contracts (like 0 contract until now ) so the journalist contacted me to have a clearer idea on current best practices. I told her any project can set their own rules (including distribute their tokens manually ^^). The French crypto community is very critical on domraider, but their marketing campaign was strong and efficient, plus they managed to accept fiat currencies during their "ico".

I read on her slack that the team will welcome people for marketing in 2018. Without marketing, it will be hard to see a rise of the price

iExec Dapp Challenge #1: Winner Gets 1 Ticket for Devcon3 Full post on our blogDevcon3 is coming and we’re super excited to showcase the first version of the iExec SDK at the conference. In 3 minutes, you can go through this fun tutorial, or just watch this video to see how it works. The iExec SDK repository is also available on Github. iExec allows Ethereum developers to create applications that can be executed off-chain. The package brings all the tools to develop, deploy and execute dapps on Ethereum and iExec. Using these tools, you will be able to deploy any legacy applications in the iExec infrastructure, and execute them through calls to Ethereum smart contracts. The tickets for Devcon 3 were sold out a few months ago. If you wanted to be there, but were not fast enough to book your ticket to the conference, this is your golden opportunity! Please first make make sure you’re in capacity to go to Cancun on November 1–4 (flights, visa, etc) as we only cover the price of the ticket entrance. In order to participate, you would have to provide a detailed description of a decentralized application running on iExec. The deadline is set to Sunday, October 22, 2017 12:00 PM UTC. The readme file you would edit should include: - A description of your dapp
Why is it built on Ethereum Why does is it use iExec A presentation of the implementation
Please follow these steps: - Fork the iexec-dapp-samples repository
Edit the readme file When you’re done, pull request to the dapp-challenge branch Post the link of your PR in this Google form
Don’t be afraid to ask us anything, we’re on Slack, and this is our blog and white paper.
