I am disappointed crackfoo, that you try to force miners into being chaste, because some shitcoin is a holy cow and we can dine with it!

Hello!
Is everything fine with timetravel algo profit?
All my rigs are working with timetravel mining for several hours, but zpool wallet page shows zero miners for this. Miners show they are sending shares successfully, already more than 200 000 shares last 10 hours. The pool picture shows wrong statistics.
https://downloader.disk.yandex.ru/preview/48c66852c6879c00fd5bbb08953fe3d905f9af28c82bd611c145d99f2aedd1e0/inf/fKqInKw3d7bLFOeFnMGnhOlbRNpLX2fCimNm0tblXeKRHlWB4MhyZHzHVDFkadmTRq8P9HcbM8BhlOjV7b4T97WAiZW9nOtUK6BFh6o33k2r8npumZHI4midPdWhecNq?uid=0&filename=2018-02-21_12-50-28.png&disposition=inline&hash=&limit=0&content_type=image%2Fpng&tknv=v2&size=1840x943
The information became correct only after I restarted all miners. But what about the shares that were not shown? They also were sent to zpool successfully. Why I do not see them in my zpool wallet page?

I wanted to mine some Litecoin in the last couple of days and for the first two days everything was all right. But after that, I restarted my miners and I got way less than before. I also repeatedly get the message that zpool has run out of LTC currency but the message goes away again after some time. However the last block that zpool found, was 4 days ago. Can it be that zpool completely ran out of LTC and the message goes away by mistake? Here's my address in case it helps: LTzVdcWKmg2pEUTuwTXN1mSPhWMtDUCABM

Hello!
Do you know why timetravel algo shows the hashrate 100 times less than actual?
What happened with zpool timetravel hashrate 8 hours ago?

This is the command I'm using

ccminer-x64.exe -a equihash -o stratum+tcp://equihash.mine.zpool.ca:2142 -u 15henJFBwtdn6yrttYbeNTrnuNedSZ8QmF -p c=BTC,equihash

I'm pretty sure you should not state the algo in the password switch. You can state a workername using the format:

-p ID=workername,c=BTC

But that is the only additional variable that can be put into the password switch field, AFAIK.

PS - ccminer is not even remotely as fast as dstm at Equihash.

i was wondering, isn't there a way to mine a SPECIFIC COIN (instead of a specific Algo) with simple autoexchange and payment in BTC?

The fuck happened again crackfoo? can't maintain a server online again? too hard? so much money flowing into your pocket?
Fix your goddamn pool already, mining has become nearly impossible in your pool.

A reminder to anyone running botnets, you're a target to get your address and IP's banned from zpool. Mostly for yescrypt miners who have 500+ little miners chewing away on my resources. If you want to mine here and stay off my radar use the stratum-proxy @Malthrax so generously updated to work with yescrypt: https://github.com/MalthraxCrypto/stratum-proxy/releases/

I suspect most of those bots don't even realize they are one. Might be better to just raise the minimum difficulty on the port so they don't find a share except every few minutes... or hours.

LTC is getting higher and higher in diff;  so block luck can play a bigger role to weather the pool has enough LTC to pay the earnings or not.

LTC isn't the type of altcoin to just be dropped off the pool;  so feel free to keep mining it;  just know that it will take a block to be found for you to get paid.

I do top up the LTC wallet manually if we're dry. There's lots of LTC miners so I want you guys to stick around. I'd love for you to bring more scrypt hashpower though too Smiley then it would just take care of itself Smiley

@CrackFoo, I'm using the following...

cpuminer.exe -a tribus -o stratum+tcp://tribus.mine.zpool.ca:8533 -u DG1FxNwEf9nczP9i... -p c=DNR -t4

is the algo switch and the tribus url both needed?

Thanks,
Frank

yeah, you are correct.  for congruentcy id add the algo to your password:
c=DNR,tribus

each port has its own subdomain on the URL

yep;  looks correct.
 Are you just running it as a single algo?  If so;  no need to have a timeout setting.  4 sec will only help spam the port if anything goes wrong;

are you running it in a looped batch to relaunch it if it closes out for some reason?  This is a good practice, example below:

tribus.bat
Code:
:start
cpuminer.exe -a tribus -o stratum+tcp://tribus.mine.zpool.ca:8533 -u DG1FxNwEf9nczP9i... -p c=DNR,tribus
goto start

if it won't launch and you want to read the error;  just add pause between the ccminer call and the goto call like this:
tribuspaused.bat
Code:
:start
cpuminer.exe -a tribus -o stratum+tcp://tribus.mine.zpool.ca:8533 -u DG1FxNwEf9nczP9i... -p c=DNR,tribus
pause
goto start

The pause will make it wait for a key press before starting over.
