Out of curiousity, why were you getting rejects with zec and btg? What makes it different if a pool mines a coin as opposed to a single miner/farm?

stratum server needs to generate the proper coinbase transactions with the proper dev fee's and founders? Can't seem to get it right... though I'm not a dev so kinda just swinging blindly

ZPOOL - the miners multipool! Support We pay 10 FLUX Parallel Assets (PA) directly to block rewards! Get paid more and faster. No PA fee's or waiting around for them, paid instantly on every block found!

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

What is going on?

I'm returning to Zpool today, and the average 140k sats/daily in nemos calculator will gave me about 50k sats in the end of 24hr, not to say the amount of pending balance is going to the roof.

the 24 hrs estimation that it  shows on the pool status, is that what each machine should be able to obtain if running the right parameters per 24 hrs? or is that the combined amount found from all machines in 24hrs. thank you for having zpool available i end up there all the time  Smiley Smiley

I dropped this coin "RAP" off the neoscrypt port this morning at their "dev"'s request. Now they're in here flaming at me assuming I have ill intentions specifically cause of some beliefs, of lack there of.
The thanks I get.

Can somebody help please, according to my kernel log I have found 4 verge blocks on ZPOOL (solo mining). None appear on ZPOOL, I have tweeted them with screen shots of kernel log, wallet address and settings, no reply. Can somebody please assist as if I can't get this sorted am navy to pools until I can find a decent thread on solo mining. Yes I've googled the hundreds but they all want you to use someones pool ultimately from what I've found.

pool you can see, wallet address from bittrex triple checked, password settings - c=<XVG>,d=512000

you don't mine just verge, there're lots of coins on scrypt port, currently mined coins - 8 from 52 as I type.

I thought if I set coin to XVG and used a verge wallet that it should be solo mining verge; based on this from pool site:-

"YOU MUST ALWAYS set your currency in your password field that matches your wallet address: c=<SYMBOL>. The pool has mined hundreds of different coins and many have the same address version. We CAN NOT read your mind and possible know what currency you want. If no c=<SYMBOL> is set, your currency will be randomly chosen from any matching coins we have used. This HAS TO BE A REAL EXCHANGE SYMBOL. Do not use a symbol that has an <ALGO> added. Such as XVG-blake2s or AUR-sha or DGB-skein, these are ALL WRONG. These are used only for the pool to support multi-algo coins."

Do I need to use cgminer and set up local host?

and above that:

"This is NOT a solo mining pool. All mining is pegged to exchange prices.
Non-BTC payouts depend on that coin being mined as your BTC balance is traded internally by our system to your currency of choice. If we have not or are not mining that currency your payouts will be delayed until the pool has mined the blocks for you to get paid. If you notice in the pools status that the currency is red, it means there is not sufficient amount of the currency to pay miner(s). It's recommended to use BTC as any other coin could be removed at anytime and payouts will not occur.
...
BTC is the only guaranteed payout currency"

your quote is the warning for using wallet address w/o stating which currency you want to be paid in, not which you mine*, that can lead to lost payments sent with some random currency.

* - you mine an algo by picking scrypt.zpool.ca:port, data sent as password is your payment details with optional difficulty settings.

Thanks, I found a block after setting my user to a BTC address, still no sign in BXG mined blocks, am I missing something else?

Hey Crackfoo, apologies in advance if this has already been asked (but I just can't face reading 223 pages of this thread):

any specific reason you only have 3 poor little coins on the equihash port? What about ZEC, ZEL, ZEN, BTG, BTCZ, SNG, HUSH?... Is it hard to implement somehow?

they are a real pain yeah. Each of them have changed their coinbase structure so there's no one code that can facilite them all.

BTZ and HUSH are on there already and working, HUSH however is not listed as cryptopia still has it in maint.

I've not heard of ZEL and SNG, maybe those I can get working if they are on an exchange.

ZEN used to work, but then stopped after one of their wallet upgrades.

ZEC & BTG I tried and ended up with only rejects.

I was wondering the same thing as @dragonmike... I personally suggest adding ZEN both because there aren't any pools that control a majority of its hashrate (as is the case, unfortunately, with ZEC - namely Flypool) and it is listed on Bittrex, so it's very liquid/tradeable.

Hi all! I don't mean to add to the matter but I second this. Tried moving back to zpool for the previous day but all that came in were low value coins for equihash. I hope this gets fixed.

Hi Havane! Have you tried AwesomeMiner?

It would still use claymore and allow you a per coin per algo configuration.

What's the good way to mine only XVG on zpool with claymore miner ?
My dpool.txt file is :

POOL: blake2s.mine.zpool.ca:5766, WALLET: xxxxxxx, PSW: c=XVG-blake2s

and with that my earnings are

Name           Amount           Percent   mBTC           Time           Status
   Shield (blake2s)   0.026238 XSH   0.021%   0.00011888   63m ago   Immature (75/260)
   Verge (blake2s)   0.568877 XVG   0.036%   0.00318677   74m ago   Immature (120/140)

Well, for one thing it specifically says on the home page to NOT add the algo to the coin symbol in the password field; the algo is specified in the URL/port combination. So your password should read: c=XVG

Otherwise, you, just like manic_miner74 before you, don't seem to understand that this pool let's you specify the algo to mine, and the coin to receive as payment, but does not let you directly mine a single coin. So all of the Shield and Taj and Neva coins listed above will be sent to an exchange to get converted into the payout coin you specified, XVG (once you fix your password, anyway).

I'm dual mining with clay more on zpool.

All the configuration looks right.

If I don't set the password field it will auto select random blake2s coin and then pay it out to my BTC address.

I've set the password field to mine only XVG.

Question is, will it still auto convert/exchange to BTC or should I now use an XVG address?
You don't choose the coin you mine; only the algorithm and coin you are paid in. If you use c=XVG you need an Verge address, if you use c=BTC you need a BTC address.

I'm using an Ant L3, running specs listed on zpool

Bitmain L3+ Settings:
URL: scrypt.mine.zpool.ca:3433#xnsub
Worker: <WALLET_ADDRESS>
Password: c=<SYMBOL>,d=128000

i have seen some people posting that in password field they put c=<SYMBOL>,scrypt instead of the c=<SYMBOL>,d=128000, any difference in doing this?

Pool is currently short lux. I suggest switching payout coins or switching pools if you really want lux.

Thank you for the answer Lercker.
I know the pool is short of coins... anyway short is strange since they write to have more than 43k LUX and a LUX masternode is 16K... anyway the other pools pay at 0.05, here the limit written is 1,00.  (20 times more). I have reached it and still does not pay. I just think the pool should pay at the limit written even if they are short, since they are allowing the mining by weeks. Otherwise who is mining this coin is doing the work for who?
Can I have an official answer by a Zpool member about how long my lux will be "held hostage"?
