When use paping to ping on url and port result is what you see

https://i.imgur.com/XXGBVlE.png

Any solution?

Code:
cpuminer-gw64-corei7 -a yescrypt -o stratum+tcp://mine.zergpool.com:6233 -u 34WHv9mUs1ccrLNSGXcfP8jprEDVqxzTuy -p Kuy,c=BTC

pause

Are you using a VPN service?  I know some botnets have been getting banned, so if they are using a public VPN or gateway;  could be banned from that type of things.  Can't say for certain at all about that though.  This line is pure guesswork.

the first photo looks appropriate;  for a lack of connection to the pool.

The second photo is common when the pool is processing payouts, DB maintenance, etc....   Give it a few minutes and it usually responds fine after.  I assume it loaded for you in the past.

third photo:  don't ping the port, just ping the URL.

Also do a traceroute on it.  It will provide more information on the problem.  If you are not able to see it;  your DNS may have it blocked or filtered.   a traceroute should answer some questions.

My only guess is your return traffic is being blocked/filtered on the way back somehow;
or there is a problem after the node 198.27.73.218

the discord reply does make sense.  Hopefully it irons out.

@JaredKaragen,

It was my understanding that the -t parameter was "number of threads". Is this miner different? Not the capital -T parameter.

gotcha.  Makes more sense now.

Can somebody help please, according to my kernel log I have found 4 verge blocks on ZPOOL (solo mining). None appear on ZPOOL, I have tweeted them with screen shots of kernel log, wallet address and settings, no reply. Can somebody please assist as if I can't get this sorted am navy to pools until I can find a decent thread on solo mining. Yes I've googled the hundreds but they all want you to use someones pool ultimately from what I've found.

pool you can see, wallet address from bittrex triple checked, password settings - c=<XVG>,d=512000

My only guess is your return traffic is being blocked/filtered on the way back somehow;
or there is a problem after the node 198.27.73.218

the discord reply does make sense.  Hopefully it irons out.

I have a solution now.

My public IP is blacklisted on zpool feelbadman.

So the solution is renew the IP address

Can somebody help please, according to my kernel log I have found 4 verge blocks on ZPOOL (solo mining). None appear on ZPOOL, I have tweeted them with screen shots of kernel log, wallet address and settings, no reply. Can somebody please assist as if I can't get this sorted am navy to pools until I can find a decent thread on solo mining. Yes I've googled the hundreds but they all want you to use someones pool ultimately from what I've found.

pool you can see, wallet address from bittrex triple checked, password settings - c=<XVG>,d=512000

you don't mine just verge, there're lots of coins on scrypt port, currently mined coins - 8 from 52 as I type.

I thought if I set coin to XVG and used a verge wallet that it should be solo mining verge; based on this from pool site:-

"YOU MUST ALWAYS set your currency in your password field that matches your wallet address: c=<SYMBOL>. The pool has mined hundreds of different coins and many have the same address version. We CAN NOT read your mind and possible know what currency you want. If no c=<SYMBOL> is set, your currency will be randomly chosen from any matching coins we have used. This HAS TO BE A REAL EXCHANGE SYMBOL. Do not use a symbol that has an <ALGO> added. Such as XVG-blake2s or AUR-sha or DGB-skein, these are ALL WRONG. These are used only for the pool to support multi-algo coins."

Do I need to use cgminer and set up local host?

When use paping to ping on url and port result is what you see

Any solution?

Code:
cpuminer-gw64-corei7 -a yescrypt -o stratum+tcp://yescrypt.mine.zpool.ca:6233 -u 34WHv9mUs1ccrLNSGXcfP8jprEDVqxzTuy -p Kuy,c=BTC

pause

the server only allows 15k connections. If it's timing out, it's full.

Hey Crackfoo, apologies in advance if this has already been asked (but I just can't face reading 223 pages of this thread):

any specific reason you only have 3 poor little coins on the equihash port? What about ZEC, ZEL, ZEN, BTG, BTCZ, SNG, HUSH?... Is it hard to implement somehow?

they are a real pain yeah. Each of them have changed their coinbase structure so there's no one code that can facilite them all.

BTZ and HUSH are on there already and working, HUSH however is not listed as cryptopia still has it in maint.

I've not heard of ZEL and SNG, maybe those I can get working if they are on an exchange.

ZEN used to work, but then stopped after one of their wallet upgrades.

ZEC & BTG I tried and ended up with only rejects.

just looked at SNG... it's thrown in masternodes... so this really gets dicy. ZEL needs a better exchange other than stocks

and above that:

"This is NOT a solo mining pool. All mining is pegged to exchange prices.
Non-BTC payouts depend on that coin being mined as your BTC balance is traded internally by our system to your currency of choice. If we have not or are not mining that currency your payouts will be delayed until the pool has mined the blocks for you to get paid. If you notice in the pools status that the currency is red, it means there is not sufficient amount of the currency to pay miner(s). It's recommended to use BTC as any other coin could be removed at anytime and payouts will not occur.
...
BTC is the only guaranteed payout currency"

your quote is the warning for using wallet address w/o stating which currency you want to be paid in, not which you mine*, that can lead to lost payments sent with some random currency.

* - you mine an algo by picking scrypt.zpool.ca:port, data sent as password is your payment details with optional difficulty settings.

We've turned off the timetravel algo as $MAC is in maintainence on cryptopia still.

I was wondering the same thing as @dragonmike... I personally suggest adding ZEN both because there aren't any pools that control a majority of its hashrate (as is the case, unfortunately, with ZEC - namely Flypool) and it is listed on Bittrex, so it's very liquid/tradeable.

I'll poke at ZEN some more and see if I can get anything to work with it.

Out of curiousity, why were you getting rejects with zec and btg? What makes it different if a pool mines a coin as opposed to a single miner/farm?
