The only thing I did was I bet the same number in dice every time. But that was more to make sure I didn't throw the odds off rather than superstition.

Even the same numbers will work for two time or three times, but in order to win through gambling it is based on luck. Trying and trying will make you as an expert but still there are less chances to win in betting.

Yeah, that happens because there are an infinate number of tries and for sure you will hit a number a lot of times but the number of times you don't hit it will be exponentially higher than the times you hit it. So, if you believe in a number and bet on that number, again and again, chances are you will lose more than you win.

Right,no matter how we tried on making a strategies on each game. Every game will always be different. We may win or may lose. But what's important is we enjoyed playing and learn when were best at.

That's a good way of thinking about it. Strategies differ with every person or every game we play so we got to innovate ourselves and not depend upon a superstition that has no basis or even effect to our gambling. We all have our own luck and any superstition will not change that luck we have, so just gamble with it.

I'm not sure if I can call myself a superstitious person when gambling, but sometimes I wear my lucky ring or eye glass
when I gamble it gives me confident on my decisions when I'm betting it makes me feel less stressed when I lose and
just think that it is not my lucky day. in short, it gives me an excuse to not think too much of the money i just lost.

I don't have any superstitions as such but when I play roulette I pick my favourite numbers, numbers that mean something to me. I think that's pretty normal though

I would like to say that I'm totally not superstitious when gambling, but when I think about it, I do play the same numbers when playing roulette.
I always bet on these numbers: 5, 7, 14, 27 and 32

Well I dont really believe in superstitions because there are no scientific explanation about that. What might happen will be your responsibility and noone will be. Though i just follow what my parents says when they say that is bad and must not be done at that time especially when someone died. I just follow them so they will not be mad at me not because I believe in it.

My friends do call me as a sentimental idiot as I am always following superstitions in my every act. Not just in gambling I do follow some similar patterns everywhere to ensure my good times always to support me. (When I was newbie here I worked on this forum to from first room of my home always as I had found one good games and round giveaway from that room only).

Also I had missed many opportunities due to being superstitious like I will not bet till auspicious time arrives, but odds will differ when I log in. But I follow my habits as I am comfortable with what I am doing.

This is really a hilarious thread but it still meaningful because there are players or people do really believe on this stuff which most people here really don't believe at all. No superstitious beliefs or chants that could really make our luck increase same as you said because luck does go out on random ways and no one could able to predict on where and when.

Superstitions will work for those who believe in them but not for me, because from the way I see it, most of the superstitions are actually coincidences which might not happen again and in other not to bother myself in why I lost thinking maybe its the number or the time, or the cloth I wore or even the person I spoke to, I just result to chance to be the determining factor whether I will lose or win.

Superstitions to me are just ways to keep our mind away from objectivity which is a way to rip us off our resources because if I just accept that I am unlucky to win then I should not bother to ask if the site is practicing provably fair or not? For me, I don't believe in it, if I should lose, I want to lose objectively and be able to verify and not because of the cloths I wear or the time I am playing or anything of sort...

Yes, i believe on it, because sometime we should be superstition, it is just like predictions and speculations, than it is same like superstitions. But in gambling, it is matter, when we start to play gambling than it is good if we have a sign of victory. But sometime, our superstitions confused us than should see the reality and do bet.

No, I'm not superstitious. Also I have never been to a real, land based casino. But when I go to a an online gambling site I never think of anything to wear or to put in my hair in order to win big. In fact I'm never hoping to win big in the first place because I'm playing with tiny amounts generally.

I'm not, simply because I don't believe on such things to win in gambling.
Yes, maybe luck has big impact/role in your gambling activities but we need more to get good results, right.
Some has developed unique and smart strategies, some has learned from the past experiences and so on.
I prefer to follow others tips and consider it based on my research and intuition to guide me.

well no matter what nothing will change the fact that its all about luck and gamblers always waiting for that luck to show up and take advantage,
superstitious is not really affecting anything its just your mind set so every time you win you think its because of that belief.

I have actually never gambled in my real life. Whenever i do that is only online and in online gambling i don't do anything like that, Nor i would do that in real world if i was gambling. Because i feel it is a game of luck but nothing else. So if you are destined to lose then that is going to happen in any way, and if you are gonna win someday so you will win no matter what you wear or what you do.

I have some favorite numbers that I frequently choose when playing lotto games but other than that I am not very superstitious. I do believe that there are some kind of Gambling Gods though  I think serendipity does exist and does not happen at random. Some people are luckier because they most probably deserve it more.

You are just looking for excuses specially when you lost. You might tell that because you don't have your shirt that day you lost when you gamble. Or just lucky wearing one and win.

But no. I'm not a superstitious person.

if you are destined to lose then that is going to happen in any way, and if you are gonna win someday so you will win no matter what you wear or what you do.

But I am the one, believing in to superstitions which will support me to find out and maximize my lucky moments so that I will be having some profits.

In other words I believe in superstitions will bring luck and it will change my destiny. Maybe I am completely wrong still I believe into this all the times and not just for gambling. Even for my works, I look for some lucky things so that I will not get big troubles.
