If one got lucky and won because of superstition, then there would be no casino's today. Superstition does not have any effect of you winning. It only a myth and not proven by science. Its still up to you, if you are lucky then you will win. Its pure luck that you needed.

It's a good addition for your confidence that you will be lucky enough today. The bad thing about superstitions when a gambler is completely relying on it, he really doesn't care anymore because he expects a lot when he is following other people's tip about with this belief. Believing in superstitions plus proper application of it is enough, don't get too much with it.

Does it really matter why people make certain decisions while gambling? I am pretty sure that no matter what rituals or superstitious activities the person does before they gamble they will only win if the system wants them to win. Non-believers will just have to go with what the owner gives them.

I wouldn't do any rituals or superstitious acts before gambling because first of all it's bad and there isn't any excitement while gambling doing that kind of stuff.

I have seen lot of my friends who are very superstitious and they are not only playing gambling according to their superstition but they in real life also living the same way, but this way they are some time good going but they are not fully depended on that . So this way you can rule on both type being superstitious and not superstitious

Nothing special, I just listen to my favorite music and wear the same shirt. Thst will put me in the zone so I can concentrate better while gambling. The more comfortable I am, the better I do.

I always do weird things when gambling I cannot even write them all down lmao.  I think its more calming than helping me win more.  It keeps me from making bad choices to stay in a ritual and pattern.

I will admit I'm very supertitious when going to a land based casino.
1. I choose the number of parking slot that I will park. Usually it should have my favorite number 111,777 etc.
2. I don't want to wait for someone if he or she is going to go with in the casino.
3. I wear the same shirt that I won big.

I try not to be, but actually, I think this is the only choice you've got. If you are smart enough to understand, that no strategies will ever help you - this is pretty much it, rely on luck. I can't say it works for me, but at least I'm not feeling so frustrated when losing and don't blame myself for making a wrong decision or strategy. I think this way it is also easier to stop, when you realize that this superstitios things no longer wash.

For me I'm tired of looking for my luck, I have not won doing it so I need to be more realistic now.

It is the other way around.
It is not bad and it adds up excitement at times.
Why? One example is what happened to me. I play scratch cards at times when I go to the mall.
What I do when I feel unlucky? I change the coin that I use when I scratch the card and if it works then suddenly I win I will continue until it loses the luck.
There is another part of excitement there thinking what if I use other coins will I be more lucky. I think it is not stupid or something but you are enjoying the game.

Well its all psychological for me. If it's true then some people should be raking up millions already with gambling once they stick to their lucky superstitions. Sometimes, believing in something that will give you a good result boosts your confidence and it makes it a lot more fun as well.

Well lets respect on what they do believe because there are really people do believe such things which they are basing on their supertitious beliefs as long it doesnt hurt anybody then theres no wrong on following those things.We should mind our own business and should not criticize others beliefs but into myself i dont really believe on those things because it cant really contribute on how lucky i am.

Superstition will always be present in the society, many people are still believing in some weird things, such as you can never go under the ladder, and if you will do, something terrible will happen this day.
How can anyone believe in such a bullshit, I cannot understand that. But it makes me laugh even harder when someone is telling me, that if I click in a correct order on some buttons in gambling site, I will have bigger chance to win a next bet.

Gambling and superstition has a quite a good link between the two. The Reason being that gamblers think that few acts are good for his fortune and he always looks for that positive things which infact has nothing to do with gambling.

when im playing gambling im not believing in any superstition but when i do i make sure that the number of my bet or anything always have number 1 because its my lucky number.and im always putting a coin under my shoes because it calls luck and im winning with it so im dealing with it try it guys its not bad to try . much better if a chips from casino you will put under your feet inside your shoes.

Superstition is not only a gamblers thing, that is why you see people carrying luck charms with them all the time, like a four leaf clover, but as we know it is simply impossible that those kind of things affect the way things happen around us, this is nothing new and lucky charms can be dated back to the beginnings of civilization.
