I just wanna know if you guys are supertitious when playing or gambling?

I will admit I'm very supertitious when going to a land based casino.
1. I choose the number of parking slot that I will park. Usually it should have my favorite number 111,777 etc.
2. I don't want to wait for someone if he or she is going to go with in the casino.
3. I wear the same shirt that I won big.

And a lot more..

Thier is always a big difference between superstetion and gambling  . in the common practical life we came across such types of the things which are common to happen or we can say that There is always a particular things to be happen in the most of the cases .
but here the condition is much big different for the gambling because in the gambling most of the times we use only our mind for the making money , and lost our sense of thinking about the reality .
So gambling and superstitious are having big difference , use your superstitious but don't use your mind for big gambling to make earnings , because gambling can never results into profit but still you can make big profit of fun in your life .

It's normal to gamblers that we do believe if we are doing some kind of ritual especially if it works when we try but if we also do that I think that is a good idea, you cannot based on your luck alone when gambling because in the end the probability will still take place.
In most cases the house always has the advantage so everything you do will not work consistently, and you will still lose.

I have seen this happening with people. This is a kind of mentality that has been fixed to their minds. While they were playing just if they starts to earn good they won't leave the place and by the following days to they try to grab the same place. This is not a superstitious belief, but a small illusionary thinking.

I have seen this happening with people. This is a kind of mentality that has been fixed to their minds. I think it's to make them become more confident and focus on gambling. "I wear the same shirt that I won big" I think it reminds him of the great won he achieved so as to make him more calm and able to control himself also creates an illusion that makes him more confident

Yes. Sometimes they are just mind conditioning. But what is funny is that sometimes they can really hit big because they are oozing with confidence that they felt is going to be their lucky day. But lo and behold they win really won big. But I guess its really luck and not superstition. As for me, I don't practice it myself because I don't believed it can influence the outcome.

If superstition 100% will support gambler for profit making then I believe there will be nothing wrong to follow it. But in real cases, superstition  is nothing but how our luck factor is working, full of uncertainity then I don't think it is good to have one more extra work.

I've seen some people know and some friends were a bit superstitious. But the truth is most of their stuff is not important and does not affect how you play in the Casino or ' fortune will favor you. because they use some tricks in order to win in gambling they play

The only superstition that I follow is to avoid the number 13 as much as I can, I know it does not make any difference, but that is what I do, I avoid parking in parking slots with that number, if I’m playing poker I avoid playing any hand that adds up to 13, like an Ace and two, a seven and a six, I never bet the number 13 on the roulette, you get the idea.

Well being supertitious in gambling will just make you confious and might be an obstacle that can stand on your way of winning. Don't believe on supertitions. Believe on yourself and use your abilities in winning games. Dont stuck yourself.

well its a new age now and we all knew that  math can help us to survive inside gambling the best way is just to enjoy your game and don't let anything bother's you because superstition will just do that every time you believe about it, if you want to enjoy just focus and play what you can afford to lose.

I also agree with that. I have watched a movie about gambling where the house are beaten by young mathematicians. I do think that it is impossible to beat the house with the aid mathematics. I mean, if math could really help in playing gambling, then maybe we will know mathematicians who have done it. Being a statistician and a mathematician at the same time really does put a big “wow” in many faces because it really is amazing, but I don’t think that being both will enable you to win in many gambling games.

About superstitions, there are countries who strictly follow their customs and beliefs wherein superstitions are included. We should respect that because they are just following what their family have been accustomed to.
