I just wanna know if you guys are supertitious when playing or gambling?

I will admit I'm very supertitious when going to a land based casino.
1. I choose the number of parking slot that I will park. Usually it should have my favorite number 111,777 etc.
2. I don't want to wait for someone if he or she is going to go with in the casino.
3. I wear the same shirt that I won big.

And a lot more..

I'm not that superstitious when i gamble because i only play when I'm a mood or i have recieved my salary. But i know a guy who is very superstitious when he gambles because he really wants to get rich in gambling that's why he is vwry superstitious when he plays.

Which show us the most superstitious gambler are, it's because they are taking the most risks, if you are a gambler that plays occasionally and you are not betting a lot of money then you do not need to be superstitious at all since you are fine if you lose that small amount of money.

How it is possible that in your first sentence you say gambling and superstitions have no link and yet on the next sentence you state that when people gamble then they become superstitious, it does not make sense, evidence suggest that people when confronted with something outside of their control will try to use charms or anything that could help them in this.

Since there isn't a scientific explanation yet for events that co-relates(meaning happened more than once with almost the same setup), people take that as superstition as the best possible answer.

Correct superstition is nothing more than to try to link two events even if they are not really connected, for example you win a lot of money on blackjack when you are wearing a read shirt, next time that you go to the casino wearing that shirt you win again, now the person wearing the shirt thinks that he won because of the red shirt when in fact it was just a coincidence all of that happened on the first place.

Yes I agree it's all just coincidence, not just a victory but there are those who believe in superstition also in the way of gambling games. Like in a blackjack game if you get 777 then you can win in that day.

Its really just coincidence for those who won a particular game together with his own superstitious belief and i do strongly believe on that thing because nothing on this world can able to control luck on when we most need it. People do make their own chants or whatsoever habits believing that would boost up their luck on that particular they but they mostly end up on losing if luck isnt on their side even how much they would force to follow those beliefs.

I get it how much you believe in the coin part where you put it in your shoes but what I don't get is the chair. I think that's is a necessary. Do you choose in where you feel that you're lucky and like where it's nearest to the door or something? Because I think I have noticed people doing something similar to that and I agree with you that your winnings should be somewhat covered.

Before I like to play card games in our home town together with my friends and when I keep winning I usually keep my winnings in my pocket because I believe if you keep it inside it will not be taken again. Honestly, it does not work all the time but still we cannot eliminate that kind of thinking being a gambler.

Knowing that I could really do something like calculations in order to improve my chances of winning in the online casino or what not. Hiding money is basically that out of total winning you are ensuring some goes in pocket and rest you play with which is absolutely fine. But hiding coin before playing in shoes is very weird. How did it started and what difference did you notice by putting coin in shoes and playing without doing this? Will be good if you can break this habit and move forward.

I don't think it lies but it's more of something like blaming onto something specially when you lost. I myself don't believed in superstition but sometimes when I lost or win, I look for something to blame or what factors brought me to win. And I will came to conclusion  that maybe because of this or that, and I think this is already superstition. But when I came to my senses, it was just pure luck. Nothing else.

lol it is not something new , superstition indeed usually are about something weird and connect it to your game no matter what and people just believe on it because of fun or even because they really believe it , it was really not makes any sense.

In other matter normally people not believe in this Superstition. But in gambling people trust this Superstition more than their skill set. I will not trust this Superstition but sometimes the time and game result will make me trust the gambling will run based on Superstition.

Lol, I bet it sounds like that but fortunately I'm not caught in the entanglement of superstition when it comes to gambling because I look to the realistic side of things and don't base my games on my feelings, sensory perceptions, dreams and what have you. I just can't look for flimsy reasons to justify my bets ; that's not me.

I agree. Some people are just their luck. Though others are desperate in winning so they have their drive through the use of lucky charms or any other ways to make them win. Just like the case of my relative, she always see a wizard to give her fortune on a daily basis. It's her choice to believe and that makes her happy. But then there were times also that she lose but she didn't regret and she never stops. Her life as a gambler continues not to mention, she aims to be rich. Personally, I believe that superstitions have nothing to do in gambling but it just a way to condition somebody's mind.

I have seen a person that has gamble with some pearls and jewelries. And since I am curious he told me that he bought it from a charmer and said that it can make him luckier when he gamble. Well superstitions are also business that's why we can't blame those gamblers that are gullible and are easily believed by those charmers.

A game will definitely need a place to want to indeed, and if you don't have those thoughts would be much better that you do not use the gambling. The reason could be that what you do in gambling will make you a poor man, for your gambling based on the uncertain appetite. Be consistent and someone who can play right, self control and also the analysis is most important for you to do.

LOL. Never heard of that superstitions as well. Only thing I heard both "sushi" and "death" game to play is when I watching some cartoons in TV with my son.  . I'm not a believer of it either, but when others do win and said its all because of certain things they done before playing totally don't know the word "Luck". Maybe is luck that made them win, not on those superstitious believed they have.

A scapegoat? Regardless of the definition, that is the truth, most people struggle to admit their mistakes, that is why when confronted with evidence of their bad actions most people come with excuses instead of accepting the fact they have done wrong to others or to themselves.
