Sometimes I do believe in superstition and gambling. As they say nothing will lost in you if you do. Its sometimes true. Oftentimes it somehow give you some kind of luck. I also believe in finding some signs etc. Its just like a thought or somehow a positive vibes to boost your confidence and courage.

You sound like a real gambler, we do not only believe in our skills but we also need some luck in order to win knowing that our chance is lower compared the casinos but if we are extremely lucky we will always end our day with a profit that we are expecting. It's good to be superstitious because it gives us the  confidence on our bet but it's necessary that we should be more realistic when it comes to money management.

Thinking off importantly on how you do manage your money would be more my concern than on following superstitious beliefs that other people are pursuing that it is really working and i would say it is just really a pure coincidence that you do win while using those beliefs but the real story here is that luck is the main reason. Its not really bad to follow but coming to a point on where you are exaggerating it already then it should really be stopped.

I think superstition shouldn't be mixed with gambling at all because t can make you loose big time in gambling and many addicts tends to explain everything about their gambling ordeals and so they seek to do that with superstition and other strange believes which is of no merit to gambling and their end is worse off.

You can't really say that because most these gamblers believe in them and to them it works very well, that's the reason they continue to do whatever rites or rituals that they need to do in order to win . You may not think it works but for others, it clearly works.

It doesnt guarantee that it do works but cant really be denied that there are really people who do strictly follow such rituals because they do believe such thing that it do work on playing gambling and can increase their chances on winning but actually its just really been timing that luck together with their rituals  do work which results on a win and after that they do really believe that it do works no matter what and would be used on their future plays.

Gambling addicts will really try to do everything that they think will work for them Even if they really looks ridiculous most of the time. I mostly saw it to some elderly gamblers when I go and went to a land based casino, specially in slots. LOL. Most of them would rub the screen of the machines and like making prayers. hahahaha

And yes it will be just a coincidence if they would hit the jackpot or something. I'm a addicted gamblers myself, but I don't believed in this superstitious thing. It doesn't makes any sense at all to put your money in the line and think that you are going to win with superstition.

Superstition is somewhat close to theories that we know, though superstitious beliefs do not have any connection into science or any mathematics solution to prove it correct or even closely correct. The elder or older people said those things because it might happen coincidentally or maybe they just made it up and now being passed upon to people, but a lot of people now are thinking straight unlike the ancient times.

that is the fact people can not accept the reality , they lost because of the nature of gambling will always like that. and whenever they won they think it is because of certain ritual that they usually did before the game started, it is soundslike a bullshit isn't it?

let's be realistic, everything in gambling are random. don't think about something that doesn't makes any sense.

This is one of the biggest fallacies when it comes to gambling. I don't know the exact name but it surely causes Billions worth of losses on an annual basis around the world.

If you use your brain for a few moments you will clearly see that a physical item like a shirt doesn't impact whether you can win or lose at gambling. This is simply ridiculous, but people use it to rationalize their actions.

They will go home to their family/wife/husband or whatever and not feel guilty because it is their "lucky underwear's fault".

I think people created this superstitions so that when they lose they have something to blame.

Also if you believe in superstition and you won't able to do it immediately   you will think that you will be unlucky and gambling on that state of mind will eventually make you lose.

If you see the history of gamblers, mostly gamblers are superstitions. My few friends are gamblers and they are superstitions also, all the time they start their bets with superstitions like use winning shirt or depend on color and same number use where their have won and some time i also impressed with them, becasue they have very strong superstitions.

Well, if people believe it enough, I think it could somehow affect your thinking and hopefully it would be enough to make it a positive outcome in gambling. It's all about the mindset in my opinion, and people who think they could win are actually winning. But we could never really test that, just the statistics.

I am sure it's just a coincidence, you have to winning moment but in the long run you will still lose because you are playing slot machine which does not give you an edge. If we will be superstitious sometimes, we also have to  make a proper analysis and choosing the game that has no edge is the best thing to do so we can increase our chance to win in gambling.
