it shouldnt effect one another. they are unrelated. Well if Musiconomi is built on $MUSIC... From https://www.reddit.com/r/Musiconomi/comments/6p8znn/understanding_musicoin_vs_musiconomi/ MCI tokens will NOT replace $MUSIC in any way shape or form! The two will work together synergistically to bring more value to the community than either could on their own. $MUSIC is the underlying blockchain technology that supports pay-per-play transactions and a trustless smart contract payout system for artists. MCI will be a layer on top of this fundamental chain that will enable more advanced features like sharing, track backing, etc. Almost like Steemit for music (ok, don't quote me on that, but you get the idea). This will allow fans to become way more involved with their favorite artists than a simple run-of-the-mill streaming platform would (like every other music related blockchain project seems to be). Take a look at our Token Utility blog post for on some of the cool stuff you will be able to do with MCI that you can't do with pure $MUSIC: https://medium.com/musiconomi/the-musiconomi-mci-token-utility-a-closer-look-d9f88feb73ef.

Nope that info is out of date. Musiconomi's token MCI is an ERC20 on the Ethereum blockchain. So effectively Musiconomi is a competitor to Musicoin.

it shouldnt effect one another. they are unrelated. That is correct. Musiconomi is completely separate from Musicoin. The only thing they have in common is they are both offering similar solutions to the same problem. As for the price of $MUSIC. I expect that to continue to rise until enough people finally realize that Musiconomi has nothing to do with Musicoin. And that the speculative pump was based on out of date information.

its really annoying that NomNom Mining Pool which has nearly 10% of network hash rate has a big ad about musiconomi. This confuses new people. I stopped mining there and switched basically to solo mining with my own pool at http://www.pmpod.deAnyone who wants to join me there please feel free. There are no pool fees and I dont have to pay for the server, so I will just keep it running. $MUSIC is a working project with actual application that works today.

Guys did you even read the reddit post about $MUSIC and Musiconomi? This is straight from the Musiconomi team: MCI tokens will NOT replace $MUSIC in any way shape or form! We've done our best to be forthcoming about things and have been very active in blogs and slack trying to answer questions like this, so hopefully this puts it to rest once and for all. ================== When they say Musiconomi is "a layer on top of" $MUSIC that seems pretty definitive to me. Maybe they will have separate blockchains but to say they are completely unrelated is not correct.

This seens to be outdated as it suggests that they are based on the MUSIC blockchain but it seems they are not, they decided to move to ethereum, possibly to get more money. I will continue to support MUSIC with my mining equipment.

Many people still think the Musiconomi MCI token will be running on the Musicoin blockchain. NO I AIN'T! The Musiconomi "team" are so lame they haven't even made any effort to clear up the confusion by updating their old ICO promo material. Well I guess people will figure it out eventually. In the mean time maybe Musicoin will be pumped into the top 100 as a result of the misdirected FOMO.

Just looking at the chart starting from its invention, its a good sign that did not make a new low beginning of August. The recent move during the last view days can be counted as an impulsive, which has still not ended. It would signal a huge strenght if this impulse actually makes a new ATH, but even if it does not, the bullish scenarios stays active as long as the august low holds. A correction starting from the current level could very well correct most of the recent upmove and still be very bullish.

I agree. This is an amazing project, only thing that delays its success is "unlimited coin" and hyperinflation problem.

disagree. percentage of growth decreases with every block as the mining reward stays on a constant nominal level.

As mining rewards go down in the future and usage goes up. An equilibrium will be reached.

ill donate 100 MC to the first 2 people who mine for a few hours on my new music coin pool. its 0% fee. http://pmpod.de. You'll donate $US 5 worth of $MUSIC to switch rigs over to your pool? Right now I'm not even mining $MUSIC. There is currently over 1Th/s of hash power mining on the Musicoin chain. That is crazy unless $MUSIC goes to 50c in the next few days.
