Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

To buy, or not to buy: that is the question.

BUY! Don´t listen to the bear-trolls in here!

Argentina defaults.

Ultimately that kind of news should be bullish for bitcoin; however, the way the bitcoin markets respond to news does NOT always seem to make logical sense...

To be fair, Argentina is a basket case anyway, has been for decades and will continue to be so until and unless they dump the Marxist BS.

Monkey says it continues for another hour or so, then reverses.  He still thinks we're in the process of drawing a bottom on the daily chart.  So far he's calling the intraday tops and bottoms pretty well, not that I get much benefit from them, but he's really, really uncomfortable about the whole daily bottoming process.  His calls are at least better than my trades.

I am also still interested in the sponsoring of a Jovial Organization Representing Generous Erisians which would aim to distribute free bits among students. There has been one such proposal to do this at a certain Brazilian school...
You know, that is one more reason to hate bitcoin: bitcoiners now want to appropriate the venerable word "bit", a heritage of mankind, for their sorry purposes.  C'm'on, at least show some creativity, invent your own word!  (I would suggest using the last three letters of "Satoshi" instead of the first two of "binary", but that would be incompatible with academic decorum. Unless I were a French professor.)

And why are you picking on poor @ShroomsKit?  Don't tell me that you ALL are just kids who still go to school and live with your parents...

I've already appropriated your name, how d'ya like THAT?

Language is always evolving, just like everything else except for homo bureaucraticus and homo academicus.

A decent rebound and the bulls shout 'to da moon'. In order for the bullish scenario to live on, the next 48 (maybe 72) hours are critical.
If support at 540$ will be broken and new support found at 450$ or less, the bullish scenario will be invalidated, and we'll have capitulation.

OT Funny thing is, they will sell it to the argentinnian people as "evil capitalism" that is guilty for that mess and not their bullshit system as a strange mixture of socialsm and nationalism./OT

Well a new month is approaching! So many people (who still need to work) are receiving their paychecks. New Fiat moving into Bitcoin! Time to rejoice and start the moon rockets, hehe!

What to you think, cup and handle anyone? I wonder on which scale, though. We might see a small bear-trap that will be the handle and then continue our mission to mars!

That video. LOL  Smiley It is totally unrelated to BTC walls etc., but you may like the Museum of Techno "tutorial videos". They have done a whole series of them. Here is how you make a techno bassline: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OezymoIxZM

Yeah man, oil is the old commodity everyone wanted to buy! It's like the oldschool Bitcoin in some way, but more sticky and gooey. What about the plans of using bitcoin for trading oil in the Arabic countries?
