Man, now the stars are finally aligning for me again as I have cash on the side and price is dropping. Will step in sub 8k. Maybe it'll crash even harder. The bears are good for something once.

Weird times. It's like nobody gives a crap about crypto. Yet prices are still very high considering (bitcoin + alts). There is like one boring pump on augur to pretend the market is still alive lol.

There will always be a steady supply of noobs to keep it from bottoming completely. Whales know this, so they walk us down slow to scoop up as much krill as they can mouth. We'll hit $6k before we hit $10k. I bet

Okay you're on!  If it hits $6k, Boblawblaw buys everyone in the thread a beer.  Deal?

I try my best to lay it out for everyone as best as I can and I think I showed a probability of this happening. The fact of the matter is you all should be adults here and investing fiat that you can afford to lose. Now..that being said..this will recover hard at some point. Its just finding your risk tolerance and acting accordingly. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH...please.

I am looking at the fib line at $8.265k as a possible area for support to start kicking in if we fall farther. Other data shows that a possible bottom is in the $8k-7.8k range.

Still hodling onto the Schiff channel. I think that if we stay close or above that lower band without a large dip below it(i.e below $7k) to break the trend line, its probable we will see a new ATH by years end. Massive amounts of institutional fiat is about to flood the market over the next couple months. Hang tough kiddo's.

Whales like Tim Draper can only sell OTC... If they would need to do it... which they don't because they are, well, whales.

OTC sales still hit the streets eventually. 8000 coins did this. Eight. Thousand. Coins. That's it. That's all it takes.

When Bill Gates tells the planet to go short, something is fucky. I'll give you that. Whales know. Especially in this market. Whales always know.

Once we get a final decision on the Gox coins is when bitcoin will really rally. It's a cloud hanging over the market. It would be nice if they can quickly speed up the process, but I think September is the next hearing.

I love how the bullish goon squad just vanishes at times like this. Really makes you think.

Speculators naturally evaporate under heat, its natural they look for easy trends and continuation not the turning points so much which is more of a process of confirmation of various support I think

These are very good news. I am buying all those cheap coins. Just this month alone bought $2k of coins and probably gonna throw another $1k.

Wooow. Im so impressed. You Sir are a real market maker!  Cheesy Cheesy

Its the little bitty 'investors' that matter way more then the whales.   If it was not that way then it'd be all about Bill Gates being negative or whoever, we'd never have got this high in the first place.  They are confounded by Bitcoin because its nothing to do with the usual elite money flow which is, FED > QE > Banks > Blue Chip business > Long term owners of low tax assets.
Gates can issue his debt for 1% over five years, BTC function at present anyway represents no purpose in comparison to that

Real capitalism is coming from the billions not the rarefied Washington lobbyists.   BTC might not be quite that large but its probably much more diverse then has become normal with USD debt economy hence we've had the bell rung for BTC maybe a hundred times now.   I'd like to think it best serves the little guy and prospers by that association, leads to some confusion for those who've had their head in the political trough and see the world through that prism.

I had BTC in downward channel and breaking out.  Just a short term observation but its reentered that channel and come near to hitting the bottom trend line to that formation.   I'm not sure its valid when it varies this much and reverses but my guess this is poor timing for sell on that basis.    A better look would have been confirmation and a further rise above here.  Longer term trends are more reliable to call Shocked

McAfee is reversing his stance on bitcoin all the sudden.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBgFGwJA1D0

Why does he have a gun to his head in the video preview. Shocked
Is he shitting himself this much he will lose his bet for bitcoin to reach $$ by end of the year now?

-He still thinks bitcoin will reach $1 million by end of 2020.
-He no more remembers his prediction of $78000 for bitcoin by end of this year.
-He is still very much optimistic about crypto-currencies and constantly repeated that it can't be stopped.
-Overall, McAfee hasn't reversed his stance on bitcoin.
-He likes guns (and making styles with it).
The video is an hour of watching John scratch himself. Whatever he's taking isn't bringing better health. Seems to me he stopped caring a long time ago.  He's still got uber bullish predictions but he's not to be trusted.
