People are free to open LN channels and send tips if they so choose.

LN is probably unsuitable for tips since the recipient has to be online. That's why these LN tipbots all hold your money, which I'm not a fan of. If you're using LN through a trusted third party, then you're better off not using it at all.

Perhaps this is not a good time for Bitcointalk to implement it but later it can. Think big, LN will mature.

I used to be a much bigger sports fan, I still watch games every now and then but I was wasting too much time watching sports.  Might life doesn't change in the slightest if my team wins.  Some of these fans take it too far.  you know its bad when you see fans of the opposing team getting murdered. Saw a video of this in South America from last year.

I can't prove it but I think you live longer if your team wins.

It looks like a hardware wallet indeed.

I think IOS/Android is already good enough if you only keep small amounts in your wallets and If samsung comes up with a very good security then they might even replace trezor&ledgers. I still wouldn't put more than a couple of hundreds on that phone but I also don't carry much cash with me anyway.

So whether it is Galaxy S10 with super security or iphone 7 doesn't make much difference to me. If your phone gets stolen, your money is gone. The only difference is, the thief probably won't be able to steal your coins from the s10.

I also don't think people would keep their life savings (like $50k or $500k) on that phone neither. Because no matter how good the security on that phone is, I wouldn't trust samsung. I don't trust trezor or ledger neither.

So what's the point?

Would you trust putting $100 on it?  Or an amount similar to what you would carry in your regular (analog) wallet?

Yeah I would carry 100 bucks on my iphone without worrying. If some shit bappene it is only $100 and so far I was lucky with IOS/iphone.

There will be dips..buy them..there will be tops..sell them...no need to be hasty..plenty of week left to see how this will play out. I think we will see a general uptrend continue to establish itself..perhaps into March.

Cant help but think that when Bitcoin is the Global Reserve Currency that companies will have to allocate their capital more wisely and maybe 100 million dollar athletes wont risk career ending injuries with their crap shoes. I think Bitcoin is more like the perfect woman who has done nothing but make you more wealthy but instead of appreciating her you spend years posting mostly fear posts, complaints, bummer posts, etc, and eventually she leaves you(causes you to panic dump her) to make a man with stronger hands wealthy.  

Why not make negative posts about fiat every week and how it has done nothing for you your whole life but lose purchasing power?

ah ..it is less about that and more about basic confusion? and also a lot of this is 'tongue in cheek' ... ie back to confusion...

I'm retired on cypto it is just dandy...but to say the road is straight and whales are not playing price games and to deny the drama (good and bad)
