I wouldn´t put my bids over 500$. More likely 2-300$

Short sell today.

Market is being held up by artificial bot trading to allow enough Bid pressure to build up to absorb some fuckers bumper cash outs. 800 BTC cashed out at 10:21 UTC between $814 and $810 (absolutely mental). Next fraction of a Bitcoin took price down to $801. See the way that the market is being engineered and take advantage of it.

Short sell Bitcoin now!

I speculate that there are stabilizer bots and destabilizer bots: the former ones are built to keep the price in a certain range and the latter ones are made to make waves and wipe the floor from the former ones before a whale makes a big manipulative move.

I'm sad this is the truth. I thought it spawned here when someone posted how the bid wall was almost always shallow and thin on furious uptrends, looking much like a train running through the ask wall. :[

I can see the future!

so everybody is waiting for a drop.
So it aint gonna come when expected (the next weeks).  Nothing is gonna happen in china.
So the price will rise when its in this "stable phase" long enough - a lot of btc'ers are trigger happy panic buy/sellers which buy due to 'no negative news when expected'.
So they'll buy, when the price starts to rise.  It might go up to 1000 or more, even ATH if we are lucky.
then the large and patient btc holders will sell alot due to the fear which is currently present.  They will profit.  Significant price drop to lets say 750 or so.
Then the ones above who panic bought, panic sell at a lower price.  Driving price down to 500'ish
The patient ones then buy back and we're back at 800 again.
At that point I will consider the December crash & fallout over, and see it as the starting of the consolidation phase.  Slow rise/decline, whatever, untill something big happens (btc's as part of "risky investments portfolio's with banks or sth).  That something can and will not be some retailer accepting BTC, we've had enough of that to influence the price significantly.

good ol' skepticism, which is what I think will leave the bears holding shorts...not saying news will be driving the next spike but I am saying adoption by major businesses means people see it as less of a ponzi scheme or virtual money, and start to get it is just a better protocol for money transfer, storage, and so many more things that have yet to be full realized. This is why I remain a perma bear-hodlor. If 2014 is the year we can develop a system to better lock in prices on remittance exchanges between people and their families that market could finally replace western union.
