There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

sure, they might be scams but if they rise 50-100% in 1 day, there ARE money to be made

ultimately its to increase my btc stash.

Yeah  if you bought yesterday and sold today....

so u are sure these 2 wont rise the next month?

Some people have to learn by burning their fingers.

I would advise you try to avoid this and simply imagine you are investing today. Write down on a piece of paper how much you are putting in.

Check the price tomorrow and I believe you will see a loss.

Stay cool-headed.

yea i agree but thing is if i would move in on quark with 1 grand when i first heard about it (i didnt because i thought it was a scam(which it is)) i could of made 100grand+ in just a week

im afraid to miss some large pump and dump train so to speak Tongue

Update. Why are you bothering with these bit coins anymore? 2014 is the year of the Doge.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Every single day people are losing tens of thousands on bad trades here. I would look at what's called the "fundamentals". Cryptocurrency is very young but it's here to stay. But which coins? Think of it that way and read more before spending your money.

i believe in bitcoin, peercoin and perhaps litecoin

emunie seems pretty cool to but i would argue that what coin actually is best doesnt matter. i think what matters is what people THINK the best coin is

Well they're all based more or less on Bitcoin.

And contrary to what you say there has to be infrastructure developing otherwise there is nothing backing up what people simply THINK, leading to plenty of what you have just witnessed with Dogecoin right now.
