When asics came out, people were using the cards to mine Scrypt and then convert ltc to btc. THe last great cards were the 7950 (2 years ago) and the recent r9 290 (1 year ago).

i think it's likely to be this way probably until after the auction ..
maybe some small pump and a lot sideways ..
Chinese banks are closed from Feb 18-23 to observe Chinese New Year so there shouldn't be much movement until FIAT can be wired into those exchanges (Bitfinex, OKCoin, Huboi). but people still can move Bitcoin and open leverage positions. Considering that is possible do 20x leverage, large movements are possible even when banks are closed if one has BTC, but they might cost more |
