Other exchanges barely moved. It was just our desperate underwater bitfinex bullwhale adding to his losing position.

For real though, do you know which wallet made that purchase and if it is in fact a bullwhale?  If they are opening a big long, then they aren't really a whale...

another 500 k added.

25,392,128.49 USD

those delusional fuckers still buying on leverage.

Shorts at 27300..

Deluded shorters keep adding..new ATH

Ofc short are rising but the true problem is big number of longs. Most of them are at serious -.

http://bfxdata.com/sentiment/longshort.php

~25m $ in longs and ~6.9m $ in shorts...

I think 210-220$ is crash of part of longs. Below 200$ is longs holocaust.

Shorts can be squeezed at 300-350$ but it's much harder than longs crash.

Longs crash it's just a matter of time - look at 6m or 12 long/short chart.

I thought so too until he started to refer to "you Bitcoiners" and realized he's just another lame troll, albeit a generally polite one.

Shorts get jittery way before 300-350.They seem to have a crisis of confidence. Or maybe shorts are carried out by more experienced traders with stricter risk management strategies. Longs seems to be opened by either less experienced traders or traders with deeper pockets. But so far, their stubborn insistence on going down with the ship has helped keep the ship afloat. So who will bail first? Bubba or Gekko?

Not everyone involved with Bitcoin is a Bitcoiner, just like not everyone who uses drugs is a junkie.  Because "batshit crazy Bitcoin cultist" is too long.

Go to BTC swap, historic, scroll down, chart of number of swap contracts (btc short). Make it all time and you can see that in the last four months shorting has gone absolutely berserk. In fact the drop down from 680 marked a new phase of aggressive shorting not seen before. Big players suppressing the price with retail jumping on for the ride. Now it is retail adding shorts as the price rises.

In contrast long swaps are high but 6million below the ATH.

Reflects my view that distributed ledgers/consensus systems are part of the future.
Cryptocurrencies or 100% decentralized blockchains that depend on reward tokens like bitcoin, not so much  Wink
