If it jumps up higher (say $250) that would be bullish for me. Until then though, this looks like a short lived rise and real dumping has yet to begin. Not enough volume on this crash to really call it a definitive bottom.

Articles crying the end of bitcoin due to the XT situation? The general public probably gets very scared when they hear things like fork  

Ya I thought perhaps that has something to do with it all, but my understanding of XT is it really doesn't have any effect on anything BTC is still BTC. But ya the word fork" is a dirty word for almost for any coin... we'll see. Some may see it as tampering of sorts. Hard to imagine this could be impacting price like this?

i'm starting to think we might just quickly recover from this flash crash, sure some dumb shit sold us down to 166 but 234 is still pretty much 3 month low, a fucking good price if you ask me, when i saw this starting to slip i thought 240 would prove to be support  but the dumbbear whale just fucking blew his load too fast. fuck

they not scared of the fork just the misinformation from the Cripplecoiners, mainly the censoring and blocking of the views and discussion from those interested in increasing the block size from being discussed on Reddit and here on bitcointalk.org.

No there is no need for any of it. It's beyond my understanding. But analysts did predict this.

As far as the fork, I see and understand the need, but not so sure now is the time, and have other reservations in general. Always like to keep things true to form such as the originality of what BTC is and nobody likes to be on that losing side of a fork... no matter how short it is. lol

if that's true it's the cripple coiners to blame, they are holding the network hostage with limited transactions calling the only option to allow bigger block next year a unnecessary rush. Gavin has found a willing option to increase the block size in XT.
