Once scalability solutions are released and working, be it lightning, payment channels, block size increase (or the combination thereof), you better have bought your coins already.

Bitcoin is still cheap as chips.
If this severely under priced mess continues I might actually have to buy some soon, not just HODL homebrew.
Yeah OK. This is the same crap everyone was saying when the price was ~$230. And guess what, no one was buying then, even the people saying it. And we're at $325 now. And your point is? We were also at $600, $700, $800, and $1100. Wake me up when we even get back to $600, that would be a start. But I guess that would be a bad thing as then bitcoin still wouldn't be "cheap as chips" as you say, so no one will be buying then. Amiiright? That's your logic, not mine. It's cheap as chips because there's a lot of fear and uncertainty in the market. If Bitcoin gets to the level you're asking for I think that would signal to the market that Bitcoin is here to stay. Those of us who already knows1 Bitcoin is here to stay can buy them at a discount now. And at $600 for that matter. Let us know when you're on the choo choo! 1) To avoid any discussion on the advances since before the cartesian revolustion: knows = strong belief.Everyone knows Bitcoin is here to stay, and yes I have been majorly on the train since early 2013. Still a long term bull. But the absolute bullshit in the short term continues to be mind-blowing to me. It's pretty clear now to everyone that the price is not decided, nor even moved, by Average Joe buyers/sellers. It's decided by collusion between miners and whale traders. That's it. Bitcoin's future fate is completely in their hands. And that's scary as fuck. That makes sense. But I think you overestimate the insights of even highly skilled professionals in both IT and finance. You see something they don't see. Yet. Still a long term bull. But the absolute bullshit in the short term continues to be mind-blowing to me. I found a gif, and I'm darned if I'm not going to use it.

Another trade opportunity. Are you putting your money where your mouth is? To me seems risky Yea, would take some balls to short here at 327, even though we saw 309 a couple days ago. Margin shorts vs longs on Bitfinex and OkCoin suggests probable upward movement once the work week begins. This ended up being a good call. I shorted 82 BTC at 327.2 this morning. Hoping for a few bucks over the next few hours. Stop loss at 329.

Visa Europe Collab seems to be a project that gives out some VC money to many startups ("innovation partners"). However, I don't see Epiphyte among the "partners" listed in the Visa Europe Collab page. Are they nestled under some of those partners, such as Accelerator Academy or Digital Catapult? (And Epiphyte has one of those "mobile-oriented" websited with three words per page. Like those books for toddlers. Cringe.)

Don’t be mistaken in thinking the decision by OKCoin will have a major impact on the Bitcoin price anytime soon. Most of the trading volume is still originating from China, and they can dictate the price for quite some time to come. However, as US traders are left with little to no options to influence the price by themselves, a new paradigm could be created.

Selling OKcoin accounts for 1btc each! Mine still work fine and withdraw. It's been like that for a while now if I recall. Don't bother packing toothbrush/razor. Basic toiletries will be provided for you, with commissary ready to meet the needs of our more discriminating guests. The $315 seems to have some hidden buyers AND the hourly trendline was broken AND there is large volume coming it. I still think the $300 will get eventually tested before we head higher.

Back in 2013, Edan Yago's / Epiphyte's project was negotiating with some relatively impoverished nation to create a kind of 'regulatory hands-off' real-life Galt's Gulch equivalent. I lost track of that project somewhere along the way.
