Visa Europe Collab seems to be a project that gives out some VC money to many startups ("innovation partners").

However, I don't see Epiphyte among the "partners"  listed in the Visa Europe Collab page.  Are they nestled under some of those partners, such as Accelerator Academy or Digital Catapult?

(And Epiphyte has one of those "mobile-oriented" websited with three words per page.  Like those books for toddlers.  Cringe.)

Bitcoin is still cheap as chips.

If this severely under priced mess continues I might actually have to buy some soon, not just HODL homebrew.

Yeah OK. This is the same crap everyone was saying when the price was ~$230.  And guess what, no one was buying then, even the people saying it.

I was buying then. Smiley

i buy at 228, and im still hodling  Cool

OKCoin Restricts Bitcoin Trading For US Customers Shocked
...the sound of the first turdlet hitting the fan Cry
http://themerkle.com/news/bitcoin-futures-trading-ok-okcoin-no-longer-possible-for-us-customers/

Quote
Don’t be mistaken in thinking the decision by OKCoin will have a major impact on the Bitcoin price anytime soon. Most of the trading volume is still originating from China, and they can dictate the price for quite some time to come. However, as US traders are left with little to no options to influence the price by themselves, a new paradigm could be created.

A doctor, a lawyer and a Catholic priest are on the Titanic, which (you guessed it) begins to sink.
Doctor: Every man for himself!
Lawyer: What about the children?!
Doctor: Fuck the children!
Catholic priest: You really think we got enough time?

*Joke way older than the scandal, btw.

Another trade opportunity.

Are you putting your money where your mouth is?

To me seems risky

Yea, would take some balls to short here at 327, even though we saw 309 a couple days ago.

Margin shorts vs longs on Bitfinex and OkCoin suggests probable upward movement once the work week begins.

This ended up being a good call.

I shorted 82 BTC at 327.2 this morning.  Hoping for a few bucks over the next few hours.  Stop loss at 329.

I already took profit on 75% of my position from that short. If it closes above the $330, I will be out.

The $315 seems to have some hidden buyers AND the hourly trendline was broken AND there is large volume coming it.

I still think the $300 will get eventually tested before we head higher.

I don't see Epiphyte among the "partners"  listed in the Visa Europe Collab page

Back in 2013, Edan Yago's / Epiphyte's project was negotiating with some relatively impoverished nation to create a kind of 'regulatory hands-off' real-life Galt's Gulch equivalent. I lost track of that project somewhere along the way.

People have been stung by scams involving bitcoin recently, so many may be reluctant to part with such a large amount of currency for a slice of a community that some would say sounds too good to be true.

no.

Are you talking about that seastedding thing, a floating nation made out of discarded tires and empty milk jugs, tethered to an abandoned oil derrick?
Some user here with an E nick, something like Egon or Egor was doing that. I think that has great potential.
Or that chunk of no man's land between Serbia and Croatia some enterprising nation-builder called "Liberland"? <==hahahaha

The Seasteading Institute was founded by Peter Thiel, the co-founder of Paypal.  I don't know if he ever had an account on this forum.

Yeah, I think that's what jbreher is talking abou, not sure why he's denying it. A "'regulatory hands-off' real-life Galt's Gulch equivalent." Aptly called Galt's Gulch Smiley

Jbreher, you sure this doesn't ring any bells?
