It's going back up! Come on, Adam. It's only four bucks.
na i gata go to bed if i bet 4$ i will stay up, and my girl will be sad, and thats just no good for me. but hey $4 says >412.5 by morning, take it or leave it. you've made $2 so far, why not bet $4 i really gtg, let's make a few more bets on some 2hr candles or somthing tomorrow, it's fun! Why the hell not? You've been a good sport, so ok. deal. GOOOOOD morning yeah, you won your two bucks back. Congratulations. We're even. ok now... 300$ says every single month price will be > then the previous month for the next 10 years. That's a dumb bet... You are sure to lose that one., maybe even in less than one year. Don't you know bitcoin? Bitcoin, overshoots frequently.

No one wants to comment the price and the fact that we're pushing this fucking red cliff hard? Vitalik, along with other investors will need to make regular dumps to sustain development. The warning sign was all the spam we were seeing promoting ether and indicating a manipulated pump occurring to prepare for the dump. It will be interesting to see what Sergio Demian Lerner turing complete scripting softfork for bitcoin does to ethereum as well. It won't directly compete with Ethereum abilities but make much of it redundant and unnecessary. Wait. Wat?? I thought this was a bad idea? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=431513.20Too long in this shit to see hype and pump pretty clear...ETH is still in alpha...there was no reason for the price increase except pure speculation I don’t understand how a Turing complete scripting language can be implemented in Bitcoin. Smart contracts will burn Ethers to avoid looping. How will Rootstock handle it? I know this now. This is being implemented as a sidechain. So you'll be burning Roots, or whatever.

Just feel like pointing out this will still not go up forever so billyjoeallen might survive. My advice: close you short in the 390's. Probably the best price you will get before we see higher prices again.

I'm more worried about 51% attacks today. The halvening could mean doom. Isn't it?
I don't really get why a bunch of clapped out miners covered in dead spiders, dust and snot could compete with a mountain of gleaming new machinery, but if it gets you through the day then I fully support you. But these aren't a bunch of miners "covered in dead spiders," these are production gear that will be highly profitable right up to the moment of the halvening. These are majority of current hashpower, which isn't coming from the latest/greatest. The reward halving is an abrupt, traumatic event: If it costs your mining farm ~13 BTC, all said and done, to mine a block now, you're making st00pit money -- a hair less than 50% pure profit. Come the halvening, suddenly you're making ...well, you're LOSING money Therein lies the rub.

We're even. ok now... 300$ says every single month price will be > then the previous month for the next 10 years. I'd take you up on that, but I don't want to have $300 tied up in escrow for ten years. My short is in eminent danger of getting rekt, so I'd have to pull it out of cold storage. If you're right, $10 worth of bitcoin today would more than cover it! I agree with you, it looks like the bear market is finally over, but there will be down months after the next bubble. I guess people figured out even a contended hard fork would not leave two chains for more than a day or two, tops. This blocksize issue is not going to go away, but remember in 2013 we all suspected Gox was insolvent, but it didn't stop the Great Bubble. Markets can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent. Now I'm thinking fullblocalypse and the halving cancel each other out. Either way, they're both well known and likely priced in. u really are short ?? no wonders this thing pumped. .. i disagree that halvening cancels out bitcoin that cant scale.. it aint gonna matter how many coins are mined... if this thing still cant scale after the halvening .. well it will only have been a YEAR and HALF of waiting. #ridiculousness #GimpedCoin Yeah, I'm short. I have a tiger by the tail and I can't let it go. Really stupid, I know, but I'm so far upside down now that I might as well let it ride. Just look for like a spike on BFX. That'll be me blowing up. Bitcoin can't scale, but that won't stop the gamblers from pumping. We all suspected something was wrong with Gox, but it didn't stop the Big Bubble in 2013. The Chinese are still driving this thing and you know how Asians drive... This is the truth of the matter, and we get extremes in both directions... I doubt that we are an automatic up from here, but we seem to be heading upwards, even though we may get a correction, today, into the $390s, maybe?

For perspective: Almost 200BTC sell wall. I guess its fake, to scare ppl from buying and keeping price low.
I am sure whoever put that wall up does not mean to actually sell that much. I wish I had the Bitcoins, even if I had to borrow them, just to take that wall out and see the look on their face realizing their wall was gone and they now were short 100,000 Monero they never intended to sell.

What are your real thoughts on the possibility of a 51% attack with decommisionsed gear? I'm not trolling. I don't know why you always think I'm trolling? I'm genuinely interested.
