That being said, my first car out of college was a 1980 911 Carrera targa so I understand the desire. It is a fun car. Paid 10k for it. Paid much more than that in repair bills over the 5 years I had it.

Certainly practical. Could come in handy soon.

Well that thing enforced with some radiation shielding and some extra extreme freeze engine shielding/protection. But I would recommend to buy 10 of those, keep them in some kind of underground facility/garage, then pop them up 10 years later after everyone bombed and destroyed all of their own equipment fighting each other.


*edit:  My concerns would be it running on oil. Maybe something new/old technology working on mechanical power like those Swiss watches!

They are Turkish made, but on a HMMVV platform, so parts are easy to get.

I'm thinking just buy the HMMVV and weld the body up out of aluminum plate

I had a '91 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 once. AWD, Twin turbo, 320hp stock. Car was heavy but it would haul ass. The coolest feature was it had both a front lip spoiler and a rear spoiler that would tilt down when you hit 50 mph, and the rear wheels would flex in the curves. I bought it used and had it 5 years.... sold it for $3K more than I originally bought it for, lol.
