It's not at all similar to this spring, or we would have crashed deeply with volume of more than 100k BTCs already.

I am completely speechless with the tenacity of this price fly-up, it simply refuses to go down, several crash attempts are just easily absorbed, each time countered a powerful buy wave.

Truth.

+1

When comparing April with today, the current run up seems much more impressive.

This is misleading. The price more than doubled in about a week in April. We haven't seen that type of growth in November. This month has been more like March.

ATH on gox and near it on bitstamp... we seem to have recovered from the dump extremely quickly.  I think that the DDOS trick may no longer be effective... and its existence on btc-china implies that the pullback was artificial (although MUCH needed, so thanks!).  Some manipulator is likely looking at a painful loss  Smiley

absolutely - they are fearless, and that's why they own much of the US at this point. Bitcoins at 400? i don't think they see that as expensive.

Fear is what is driving this rally.  It's not about utility or long term use, but purely fear of missing the boat.  "Last chance to get in and get rich". "Last chance to own a Bitcoin." I do believe we're going to break $1000 on this fear and maybe more.  The fall however, is going to be something else all together.

The good news is, no one need sell when it dips....because of the below events.

Bitcoin value doubled in 3 months

19 times in a row

I wonder if this has anything to do with the resilience in price over the past 24hs.

I pay very little attention to whatever Max Keiser has to say anymore.  He was screaming Buy Buy Buy as a madmen when silver was approaching 50 bucks.
