Have to wonder if this is looking so much flatter because BTC is worth more. Most people are still operating in $ mentally yet the vertical axis is BTC. Prepare for some tweaking.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Maybe it's just because I'm high, but wouldn't it be epic if you actually had a "conversation" or exchange with Satoshi back in the early days (on forums or whatever)? Knowing you were one of the few, and it wasn't even a big deal at the time?

The reality is that we currently live in a fiat world. So you'd think volume would drop off (in btc) as price doubles/triples..

Don't worry - the higher it goes the faster and harder it will fall. I don't care what the uber bulls think - this happened before and it will happen again, it's only a matter of when.

Going to suck balls when it crashes from $4k to $600 for a few seconds, and then back to $1.2k. Very scary stuff.

We're never going to hit 266 or 300 again. Get over it. A 'crash' now would be 350-380

When people start talking about completely unrealistic expectations we know it's coming soon.

You may want to let more than "just days" pass before you get too sure of yourself.

We saw a 30$ dip on Gox earlier. If a crash was underway it would have happened then. We quickly recovered though, so I dont think we'll see another 20-25% dip till we'll be kissing 500$.

Or are you talking from the perspective of an early adopter who is going to be ahead no matter what? These forums are fun to read

We're never going to hit 266 or 300 again. Get over it. A 'crash' now would be 350-380 That would be a correction, you've obviously never seen a crash. An example of a crash was $266 to $50 in a very short time scale. I have a feeling you're going to learn a lot in the near future. You can apply this knowledge in future crashes unless you get locked in at the higher price. A crash can be very very lucrative for your holdings if you sell at the right time and then buy back 2-4 or more times the number of BTC as the price proceeds to continue lower. I doubled up from about 500 to 1000 BTC earlier this year in such a scenario in a couple of days. Two trades : 1 sell followed by 1 buy.
