PDP10's don't burn so good (I thing someone mentioned an i286 though, maybe they upgraded :/ )

they took delivery of a number of the new pentium 3 tualatin core servers recently

Good point, but I don't think it's likely.  Cryptography is quite complicated - probably too much for there tiny little brains.
