mBTC looks good. I have to say using Bitcoin for small value purchases is way too hard.

Personally, I like btc, but fully admit that it is difficult. Have to check my zeroes a couple of times. mBTC would be fleeting too if btc increases 10-100X We should get to satoshis at $0.01-1.00, then everything would be easy Sidenote: VB getting a genius prize is incompatible with eth receiving a spankdown a few days earlier in the hands of the SEC, IMHO, hence the largish bump. Ohanian, though, LOL. He is the one who slipped one extra zero in there.

We shouldn't be thinking about it as fractions of BTC. We should be thinking in terms of satoshis and building up. Like bytes in computing vs the metric standard. Kilosatoshi (kSat), Megasatoshi (mSat), and Gigasatoshi (gSat), ect... It's so much more natural to think in terms of multiples than fractions. Plus we are much more the spiritual successor of the computing standards than the metric standard. If bitcoin ever becomes so capitalized that 1 satoshi is like a dollar, well then we just use it like we do currencies now. 0.01 satoshis would feel be pretty natural as a penny. And really if we get to this point again where things start costing 0.00001 satoshis, well that is a problem I can live with. 1 kSat soon to hit 0.1 USD! Anyone think we can see kSat USD parity this year?

In the US and Europe we have one way of thinking when it comes to dollars and euros which we think is the natural way of thinking of prices. Other places I have lived the currency is such a tiny denomination that having a million of the currency isn't that big of a deal. In French Polynesia it's about 100 francs to the dollar. I guess it's natural for the locals but I always look at the price and think of it in terms of pennies (moving the decimal two places to the left to see the dollar denomination). The key though is that no country's currency is as valuable as bitcoin so it's unnatural for everyone to think in terms of .00001 etc. Satoshis would satisfy many countries and slowly evolve so it's more natural for US and Europe. The dollar and euro will be like the rest of the world's currencies eventually anyway.

Devaluation is fairly common. Just arbitrarily move the decimal point two spots over.

It is either btc or satoshi for me. I don't understand a damn from the others. There is no need to confuse people further neither. Wtf is bits? Who came up with this shit? It was always bitcoin or satoshi. I'm sticking to those.

Just there to make my message quota of the day.
sigs don't show here, doesn't count toward your quota #SadTrombone Hey, @micgoossens: Honey Badger has a positive message: I am looking forward to WO page count as a support level. Maybe by this time next year, or perhaps no later than 2021? Perhaps 2021 will have support in the $30k arena? Too wishful, or no?

I used mBTC for the longest time even when the price was around $100 because I always assumed that one day the price would go to $1000 and one mBTC would equal $1.

holy ETH pump batman
I think because Vitalik won some kind of award. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3452619.0Or maybe the news of it being a non-complaint security must of got over turned. Cause it rising over $60 out of nowwhere is not ethereum like. Both Ethereum and Bcash are being pumped significantly. There could still be an adverse ruling against ETH inspite of this pump and maybe even there could be an expectation that there would be an adverse ruling against Ethereum is part of the reason for the current pump? Difficult to know for sure, except maybe to see what happens in a few weeks if an adverse decision were to come out.

Get ready for my devaluation fork coming soon(tm). This won't be your typical fork, converting your coins will be easier. I will give you an address to send your bitcoins and I will send you .01 fork coins back which will now be called 1 bitcoin.
