Well I also don't own a TV, go shopping, read magazines/newspapers, eat processed food, use microwave, never had a 9-5 job etc.

A clear recipe for becoming a business magnate. Try it, you may be surprised  Grin

Hey cool, all of these already apply to me! Smiley I do own a TV, though. But it's being used as a monitor for a PC.

You said not instantly , but you still stay by the word "everybody'?
Common , that's an utopian never to be achieved dream.

You're quoting Spaceman_Spiff, not me. I said "just about everyone." And this has already happened before: Just about everyone in the US is wealthy by 1950 standards, and especially by pre-industrial, and most especially by feudal standards. One to two decades is a long time these days.

And they are also many times more productive. Unfortunately, a lot of that productivity is leached off by the government in various schemes including taxation and inflation. It's hard to do much about taxation but now there's a way to fight back against inflation.

Dayum. I was just about to post the exact same thing.

The only reason I bought a 3D TV was to get a 55" LED/LCD panel with a 240Hz refresh rate for my main computer.

I've been car-free since 1966, job-free since 1976, tobacco-free since 1985, drug-free since 1988, and TV-free since 1997.

Just say no!

The way the holders have the balls to hold is that they understand what is happening. The world is switching over to secure digital asset ledgers. They are simply unquestionably superior. Since they've already cashed out enough fiat currency to meet their daily needs, the only thing they care about is increasing their share in that asset register.

If you want be able to hold on to your coins, deeper research and thought about the system in the grand sweep of things is essential. Here are some links for deep Bitcoin scholarship:

Hey Zang - Great summary. Once again. Thank you.

And I completely agree with your advice behind this post. That has been my experience exactly - and that of my few friends who have gone deep enough to understand. The more I grok what is really going on, and the economic forces at work, the more solid I become. And the more I understand, the more confident I become that I will be able to recognize the signs if my internal model is flawed.

Of course it does not hurt to have pulled out profit and recouped my initial investment long ago.

I also believe the risk for investment right now is much lower than when I first got started, even though the numbers are much bigger. It is still a binary game, but with IMHO, a still massively disproportionate risk/reward profile.

Do you suppose this might have something to do with why you turned out to be an independent thinker? Smiley

but you also don't use the PM box to reply either :p

I think we all have something in common, we have our eyes open to the world.  I watched RT news and that's how i heard about bitcoin.

I love this line : All the positive news couldn't keep Bitcoin prices up, however. On Tuesday, Bitcoin crashed to a price of $600 each, still on its way to find a bottom.  I wish there were 600 USD bitcoins for sale!

and.... gotta keep the bears happy...
